OK I just decided.
If Palin doesn't run, Paul has my vote.
If Paul walked his talk he’d be great.
He opposed the states right of AZ and their SB1070 Bill.
Desert Storm was not in retaliation to Osama, as the post above points out.
Regardless, it’s not solely about “retaliation” (although that reaction is certainly justified). It is about seeking out and dealing with those responsible for the attack against America and holding them to account for their actions. An initial “retaliatory strike” may or may not be enough to address the underlying cause.
When we “retaliated” against Japan for the strike on Pearl Harbor, was the War over? Not hardly. It was not over until they succumbed to complete and total surrender. (Yes, I know. Japan was a nation state..I’ll not restate my response to that here).
I think Palin has the X factor required to beat Obama, personally. There is no way one can describe her as a “dud”, as I believe many, if not all, of the other candidates can be described as.
Another advanatge that she has is that her personality isn’t manufactured, it’s genuine. Rice is a bit liberal for my tastes, however I would absolutely support that ticket!
That “Constitutionalist” will not get the nod...it is an impossibility.
