Colorful ceremony.
But Bob's messiah was Hailie Selassie.
I love his music, too. It sounds like a drunken carousel.
I never liked his music. I have always been amazed at how some people think he was the greatest musician who ever lived.
Never heard of him. Why is he important?
Pass dee Dutchie on dee lef hand side Mon!
What does he have to do with Christ??
He worshipped mind altering drugs didn’t he?
Those people are all on drugs
that was musical youth.

Interviewer: “Can you tell the people what it means being a Rastafarian?”
Bob: “I would say to the people, Be still, and know that His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia is the Almighty. Now, the Bible seh so, Babylon newspaper seh so, and I and I the children seh so. Yunno? So I don’t see how much more reveal our people want. Wha’ dem want? a white God, well God come black. True true.”
Oh, had he accepted Christ as his Savior? I didn’t realize that. Great.
From my understand he did on his death bed. I believe one of his back up singers stated that he stretched out his arm and said “Jesus” and went back to sleep to never wake up again. I believe that is how the story went.
Didn’t he sing “Don’t Worry, Be Happy?” /sarc
Dat be Ras Tafari to me white mon. Rasta mon vibration positive.
Hey, I dug Marley. He was a ganga smoking Rasta but he had it going on musically, especially in his later days. IMHO it is sad he left us so young. But then I could say that about Cass Elliot, Jimi Hendrix, my Pearl Janis Joplin, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Robert Johnson and so many others.
Sometimes I sit and think, other times I sit and listen to the music of dead people. I miss a bunch of 'em.
Wail on Bob.
...gee, and all this time I thought the almighty was Charlie Sheen. What a letdown.
If you look in the dictionary, the definition of “Overrated” has a picture of a weed-smoking, dread-headed loser named Bob.
Couldn’t find Eddy Murphy’s “Kill Da White People” snl skit on Youtube. Damn.
