Just an update on today's grand opening of the first ever IN N OUT Burger in Texas. Several Local Television stations are reporting from the IN N OUT in Frisco this morning. There is already a line around the building, people spent the night, there are tents out there, sleeping bags, people playing video games while waiting, etc. Really great to see.

What in the H is “really great” about people waiting in line like idiots for fast food like this? Are you a shareholder? That’s got to be one of the dumbest posts ever on FR. Sorry.

In N Out burgers are good...but not sleeping in a tent overnight good. 5 Guys does a better burger anyway.

I’m waiting for one in El Paso along I10. Had some false reports last year of one coming in. Ignore the Haters. This should be in Breaking News!

I really hope IN and Out only stays in warm climates. It’s not something for cold, dreary places.

Yes, the whole IN N OUT story is all American. Started in 1948, same menu, just burgers, unsurpassed quality, and even drama as the 2 sons took over, didn’t get along, the good one dies in a jet crash, the bad one takes over, dies of a drug OD, and the brand quality, etc. is still here today, unchanged from 1948. A Great story. I was worried to see if Texans would accept IN N OUT.........looks like they are embracing them. Great story.

Well, if IN N OUT is for warm climates, Texas is a natural fit. We have 2 seasons out here. Summer and January. :) (actually, we have 4 beautiful seaons out here and it snows in winter and gets very cold. We are hotter for about 3 weeks than most other places so people think it’s perpetually hot here which is isn’t.

Had dozens of them - nice food but anyone camping out to eat one is retarded.

I went to IN N OUT burger ONCE

I waited 20 minutes indoors for a hamburger. It was plain and ordinary.

I saw no reason to go back.

I spent 10 weeks at a motel near Barstow, CA across the street from one of these. It was right on I-15 between LA LV. You would never believe the level of that activity. I ate there a few times and the food is distinctive from most other fast food.

Barstow is the largest and I believe busiest IN N OUT burger. Anyone in Southern CA know’s it’s a natural stop and gas up for people headed to Vegas to not only is the IN N OUT busy in Barstow, so is the McDonalds just off the 15 headed to Vegas.

Only experience I had with Texas weather was Air Force basic training in San Antonio.

I went Nov-Dec 1977. One day it was freezing, next day it was 100 degrees. Some days it was freezing then 100 degrees.

Never knew what to expect.

Beautiful sunsets, though.

I was stationed in southern New Mexico and went to El Paso every so often... definitely not the same as San Antonio.

Should have had a Double Double instead of a “hamburger”

There was your problem.

Go back for another try.
