Help spread this important message:
This story is incredible. Send this touching two-minute video about World War II veterans to FIVE friends and family to remind them that every day alive in this great, free country is truly a bonus. Lets get 50,000 views for the video by Memorial Day (May 30th) to show these living heroes, one last time, just how grateful we are for their unbelievable sacrifice. The video is a trailer to a documentary that will come out in November. The more we can show interest in the trailer (i.e. views), the more Americans will get to see the film. Time is running out: 1,000 WWII vets die every day. We are free today because of these men and women. The least we can do is watch a web video and send it to five people. Lets get this mission done!
Son of WWII Vet (please pass the tissues)
We all salute these aging warriors. Let’s honor the sacrifices of ALL our vets by bringing our folks home ASAP. Of course, we’ll need jobs HERE for them. Having said that, if the citizens of these nations the politicians have our folks “building” resume killing each other, their cheap or slave labor will no longer be a magnet for the multinational corporations that have exported what used to be OUR jobs here. They will no longer be safe places to do business and many of those multis will repatriate those jobs. And while we’re at it, replace the idiotic income tax with the Fair Tax, making it even MORE attractive to site a business here. I suspect we’ll know more about the prospects for any these things some time AFTER 2012. Gee, that sounds like several problems solved.

I’m so sorry your Dad wasn’t able to see his memorial, but it will be a moving experience for you and your son.
A big thank you on behalf of my Dad and all the other families who have seen the impact Honor Flight has made on these heroes. Truly an example of America at its finest.
My late father was a member of this rapidly dwindling breed. He was a flight engineer and top turret gunner on the venerable B-17 Flying Fortress. All of my uncles served too and all of them have passed on. One of my uncles was shot down three times in the Pacific Theater and ended up with a steel plate in his forehead from smashing his head against the canopy when he bailed out the last time. Did he have bad luck or was he just not a real good fighter pilot? LOL
God Bless each and every one of our WWII vets. Without you - all of you - the world would be a much different place.

Well worth viewing. Thanks!
Thanks for the ping, jazusamo!
I’m glad your Dad knew that before he died.
My Dad was in CBI - China/Burma/India Theater of War. He died in 1974.
God bless them all.
Thanks bigbob.
My dad passed away last July. Sorry he missed it.
