Well, I'm new here. A long time reader and admirerer of some of the insight here. I'm definitely a Republican, although I must confess that I'm probably more moderate than many regulars here.
That said, I'm no "DU" person. Yes, I've been informed about what that means. :) So here I be, hopefully able to contribute here and there as I have plenty of insight to share.
I guess that's it. Here's hoping I'm not zotted away. J
LOL, that might explain it, but answer me this: if posting privileges are limited, then I wonder why one can post a thread and then have limited reply posts on originated thread. Maybe a question for Mods.

I’ve seen any number of threads where a noob has posted a vanity, then gone on to respond through the thread. It would seem, if a noob is allowed to post a thread, a noob would be allowed to respond to inquiries...

Well, I guess by moderate, I meant that I can be more moderate on social issues - i.e. abortion, etc... but in terms of national defense, fiscal policy, etc.. I tend to be very conservative.
Reagan was a hero of mine and really the first President I followed closely though I was not old enough to vote for him. I loved Bush and well, can’t say the same for our current Potus.
How’s that for a start? Oh, and to the person that asked, I’ve got asbestos for skin. Fire away.
My insight would be generally related to matters of national defense. Let’s just leave it at that for now, at least until some of the flames fade away.

Because in most places, including forums where I’ve acted as moderator, when newbies post, we actually...you know, make them welcome.
It’s interesting when a new personality joins a discussion group; especially if they have something to offer. A response as rude as yours would be summarily deleted if found in other areas of cyberspace.
