Well, I'm new here. A long time reader and admirerer of some of the insight here. I'm definitely a Republican, although I must confess that I'm probably more moderate than many regulars here.

That said, I'm no "DU" person. Yes, I've been informed about what that means. :) So here I be, hopefully able to contribute here and there as I have plenty of insight to share.

A NORMAL person would just start reading threads, then post an occasional reply. In other words “learn the ropes”. You just jump right in and institute a new procedure of “introductory vanity posts” when vanity posts are frowned upon. Hmmmmm this does not compute.

Your opinions may be tolerated when posting on threads, your vanity posts will not be.

Hmmm. Interesting comment. It could be taken a couple ways. 1) Who informed you about DU? Was it DU? 2) By saying you'd be able to hopefully "contribute here and there", do my mean occasionally or both here at FR and there at DU?
