Please pray for Freeper SandRat who took a fall from his roof today.

I just wanted to let you guys know that SandRat is in the hospital. He fell off the roof changing out the pads in the swamp cooler and lost his footing and fell about 4-5 feet. Apparently he was unconscious for a while and when he woke up, he drove himself to the hospital. He has 8 broken ribs and a concussion. He is being transferred up to University Medical Center in Tucson for a Neurology evaluation. Will keep you guys posted since this is a specific request from Sandrat.

I was one day home from a triple hernia operation with 4 lapriscope/bullet holes in my belly I don’t remember why we put the life vest on our min-pin (dachshund?) but he began bouncing his front end like a cholo mobile in a bouncing contest.
next thing I knew i felt the stitches in my stomach ripping and I ran outside, you know outta sight outta mind?
‘cept the dog was making everyone inside giggle and that made me giggle and when Glock came out and saw I couldn’t breath, he laughed and that made me laugh, ect. ect.
anyway, Sandrat, I hope when you feel better you can look back, laugh, and remember where you messed up...
that would be heating and cooling technicians, bonded and insured... in the yellow pages...

Keep healing, Sand...((HUGS))...need to be up and around so you can go home and rest.

Scared the bejeebers outta me when I heard that he’d gotten up and driven himself ot the hospital.
Hope he heals up quickly, good ot hear that he was sitting in a chair.
SandRat cracked a rib or two about three years ago; and he healed up from that fairly quickly. I think. My remembory ain’t all it used to was.
That said, 8 broken ribs is not the same and I’m praying right along with you that this time around he heals up quickly, too.
That and he drove himself to the hospital with a concussion.

I only busted my foot, once I figured out it wasn’t just sprained I got worried.
But 8 ribs?!
No way.
I’ve had ONE cracked rib a few times, and it really, really sucks - every breath hurts and sleep is darn near impossible........and topping it off, there’s really no relief at all until close to 2 weeks down the road.
Yeah, and Sand DROVE himself to the hospital with 8.

And.....an update from DesertCoyote!!!
I spoke with SR this afternoon and he was excited to tell me himself that he was able to get up out of the bed, walk to the restroom, walk back and get into bed by himself. He can’t do long distances yet but such a great improvement! He is now hopeful of returning home tomorrow. It’s got to be all these prayers from his great FRiends! Thank you so much!
