Never mind who wore what, the View's Sherri Shepherd had another burning question about the Royal Wedding today.
'Where are the black people?' the outspoken actress, 44, asked as the panellists as they critiqued Prince William and Kate Middleton's ceremony.
The star said she had earlier searched through the footage of guests at Westminster Abbey.
'Audrey Jones our producer was looking for the black people in the wedding and we found our Rosa Parks moment, because we were like 'where are the black people'?' she said.
'It was like where's Waldo, where are the black people?' she added.
'We found one little black child in the choir but where's the black people at this wedding?' she continued.
'Wait a minute the Calvary guy, from New York,' said Goldie Hawn, 65, who was a guest host for the day.
'Well the guests, there they are,' said Sherri, pointing to a screen showing a small group of black people in the congregation.
'They are segregated but they are at the front so we have our Rosa Parks moment,' she added referring to the African-American civil rights activist Rosa Parks who refused to obey a bus driver's order to give up her seat for a white passenger on December 1, 1955.
'I don't know why they put all the black people over here but they are at the front of the wedding so I ain't complaining, they got in the front,' added Sherri.
The women also mocked the Queen and the dresses of princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.

She's another victim of toxic shock syndrome.
the person is looking at color not people and it is sick and racist
Welcome to our website: |
We are well-liked by Black people so we're psyched (since lots of Black people don't like lots of White people)!! We thought it'd be cool to honor our exceptional status with a ROCKIN' domain name and a killer website!!

did they look for blacks, Asians , Muslims right from the get go and now who is the person who judges people from their color,.
I;ll take their advice and when I see obama at a church full of blacks like recently I’ll make the same observation
Same here in Hollywood. The idiot liberal white-guilt ridden morons spout the same sh*t but they DO NOT HAVE A SINGLE NON-WHITE FRIEND.
Yer evil, that’s why I respect ya ;)
Easy to find on the internet:
http://www.statistics.gov.uk/cci/nugget.asp?id=455
The majority of the UK population in 2001 were White (92 per cent). The remaining 4.6 million (or 7.9 per cent) people belonged to other ethnic groups.
I have never been invited to a Black couples wedding. It is not because the Black couples might be or are racists, is it?
The Obamas may have been invited; it's not clear, but the message seemed to be it was only royalty from other countries and some commoners from their former empire countries.
England has more than a few dark-skinned people.
Hate to say it but I noticed the same segregation. Perhaps it was that we were only shown bits and pieces of the audience. Also, hate to agree that Beatrice and Eugenia were wearing the most awful outfits. Egads, that floozie outfit the Deputy Prime Minister’s wife wore and it even showed panty lines! The women do like their hats - the more ridiculous, the better apparently. If only they’d spend as much time on their dental attention. How do those hats stay put worn on the middle of their foreheads? The Prime Minister’s wife was refreshing with her decision not to don a hat. Sorry, Goldie, but that’s a feather duster on your head.
Why wasn’t Fergie invited? Fine, she’s divorced from the Windsors but she’s still William’s aunt and mother to their first cousins. If pop stars were invited, surely their aunt should have been. But then it might have been Liz’s wish even all these years later.
Kate was lovely as were her sister and mother. Liz was ok. At first, we thought Camilla was wearing the same dress she was married in but then learned it was from the same designer. Still it was nice, though she could have left that boat on her head in the harbor.
William would have been better sticking with tails as that red was a bit much.
They left town with some big guy riding a giant bull.
It's a guy in a Jabba the Hut suit.
I’ve been to the UK several times...(live in the states)...ever listen to a Black Englishman talk...they make the “Afro-Americans” sound like they never passed the 1st grade. I know...it’s a remark that sounds racist but I can’t dispute the facts...
And who cares?
I am seeing the wedding highlights playing on FOX now. As I watch, I was wondering who some of the people were...friends, teachers, neighbors...how are they close to the bride and groom? What is their story in this tale?
Others, like Sherri Shepherd, simply count shades of skin color. Their interest in the individual human being apparently doesn’t extend any further that that.
What I want to know is, why do other media outlets (yeah, you, FOX) pay so much attention to that cluster of crusty harpies called The View? If they stopped getting so much free publicity, maybe their show would dry up and blow away!
Britain is a far less racially mixed country than the US is. Only about 2% of Britons are black as opposed to about 13% of Americans. That is, Britain has proportionally about 1/6th as many black people compared to the US.
Any gathering in the UK is therefore likely to appear to American eyes as less diverse than they are used to seeing.
As somebody who was there - look with 1600 guests, you'd expect about 32 black people in the Abbey - that is 2% of 1600. I would actually say that number was easily exceeded, easily reached from what I saw.
I’d like to apologize the Brits.
In the US a black can get their High School and College credits without having to attend any classes.
It’s called affirmative action.
Eskimos. Where the heck were the Eskimos??
I've been trying for weeks to hear any of the WILLIS crowd say WILLS and it just ain't happening ~ just on America talking head shows.
