I’d prefer my kids to live with their spouse before they’re married.
I’d hate to see my daughter marry and then find out her husband is a wife beater or has a bad temper, lay about, useless etc.

Same for my boys, I;’d hate to them to find out who they’re married to after they’re married

You don’t have to live together to know your spouse before you marry them. That’s ridiculous.

You are welcome to want that, but it isn’t in line with Christianity. Jesus didn’t say, “Go, and sin at will...”

I’m not going to get on the sanctimonious soapbox others have ascended today, but statistically, especially for younger couples, divorce rates are higher for couples who have lived together before marriage than for those who haven’t.

Apparently, the parties are often play-acting while co-habitating outside of marriage. Then, once the union is legalized, they become ‘themselves.’ That rather upsets the ‘knowing who s/he is’ before tying the knot theory.
