I think the reason for them to ‘release’ the birth certificate was because of this upcoming book, more so than anything Trump was saying. Probably Trump bringing so much attention to the issue, likely combined with internal polling, AND the upcoming Corsi book was enough to make them finally pull the trigger.

I believe they handled the image sloppily intentionally to give the more zealous people a reason to keep going, while making them easier to marginalize.

1. The first character of each lined up at the left margin.

2. Text on multiple lines that line up at the tab stop(s).

3. And name fields are crowded to the left.
