In this case, his handlers trotted him out in front of the public with a forged document and a "silly" speech.
We'll have to wait and see what the handlers come up with next...

Just thought of something at least as important and directly connected. While most of us are attempting to eradicate the stain....remember: if the stain is re-elected, the entire regime that has done such awful harm to this country returns to power full force for an additional four years!!!!!!!

There is no compelling evidence that this is a forgery. I’ve been able to logically debunk all of the forgery claims thus far.
Believe me, I’d love it if it was, just so we could kick him out of office before he completely destroys the country, but it’s not.
You need to get off the forgery thing and start asking “Why did this a$$ drag the country through this hell for nearly three years instead of just releasing the damned doc earlier? Why did he allow soldiers to go to prison just because he didn’t *feel* like releasing his birth certificate? Why would any decent person do that”
The forget about it and start focusing on how he is destroying the country and needs to be utterly defeated in 2012.
You couldn’t find a thread about Obama’s birth certificate to ask this question on? If you did a search you might be able to find a couple.
Two thoughts:
1) If indeed there is a forgery, I believe it is at the level of the page now in the bound book. The HI officials aren’t chancing their signature on less. Thus the OCR-type explanations probably work.
2) The greater levels of concern for Obama, which is why they left this likely red herring out there dangling for as long as they could, are
a) that he was a dual citizen, rather than NBC, by birth, as demonstrated by their taking the care to post about his British citizenship on their campaign website—but not until the week that he was elected. That is the elephant in the room that they’ve got away with by first challenging McCain’s citizenship (and trying but failing to get Congress to pass legislation that would have covered Obama’s circumstance) and since letting the Hawaiian birth question hang overhead (whether or not he was born in HI).
b) the latter circumstances about his life that they’ve taken such pains to cover up as well. I suspect there is some sort of criminal behavior in his using the Obama naming without having legally changed his name back, his activities and time in Pakistan, and/or his committing fraud at various times in his life re: his citizenship, name or such.
That all records that would have included his birth certificate have been removed from FL to CA, NY and Indonesia to me suggests that there is more hanky panky than this document reveals. Also, I wonder, if Obama had been legally adopted by his stepfather, would not, as I understand it, his BC on record have been changed from its original listing of his name and of Obama Sr as his father?
Without in any way knowing, I do suspect that there is fraud with this newly released BC, but I expect it goes to the level of a forgery now in the HI books.
I consider the claims of forgery about as logical as the claims Bush knew there were no WMDs in Iraq.
If Bush knew this, his peeps were so stupid they wouldn’t bring some along to “find?” I can accept them being this dishonest, I can’t accept them being this stupid. The absence of WMDs to me is an indication Bush expected them to be found.
Similarly, the government or the Democratic Party or Acorn surely has access to people capable of doing a competent forgery. At least in the form of a pdf.
Heck, I’m not a computer expert and I believe I could do better than this. The problems with the image to me indicate it is likely to be exactly what they say it is, a scanned image from a bound volume.
You couldn't get a passport with the digital image.
The BC is a forgery. Some are explaining away the “layers” by saying they were caused by optical character recognition software. OCR might account for one extra layer, but it cannot account for the mismatch of the curve in the print and lines (which matches Nordyke perfectly) vs. the lack of curve in the security paper pattern.
Here is obama’s new b/c with the layers removed. You can see how the printed lines bend down to appear that the paper is bent down, but a careful examination of the security paper pattern shows that the security-paper line-pattern is STRAIGHT! That can only happen on a photo-shopped forgery! No copier or camera could do that. That ONE item proves it’s a forgery. They’re BUSTED!
