Corning, N.Y. —
A 40-year-old female East High health teacher admitted Wednesday to having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old male student, which allegedly included a Valentine’s Day tryst in a classroom at the high school.
Teri K. Decker, of Geneva Street, Elmira, admitted she engaged in an inappropriate relationship with the boy by sending him sexually explicit text messages. She pleaded guilty to a single count of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, in city court Wednesday morning.
Corning police allege the relationship also included kissing and groping on multiple occasions, but there was no evidence the two had sex. Decker did not admit to kissing and groping as part of her plea agreement, according to her attorney, David M. Parks.

You swerved into a subject matter discussed here on FR, that was an editorial I believe about Liberalism and by extension Pop Culture. We are living in extended adolescences and no one wants to grow up. Now with Obamacare to 26, stay at home, live in the basement and listen to Green Day, get a medical marijuana prescription and light up until your head caves in. But the bad part is, it is not about doing extreme sports, or other such daring behaviors into their 40's and or beyond, it has this even worse side effect, moral boundaries are being crossed more so by female teachers that are illegal. This is another major moral slide for our culture.

Well, she wasn't a teacher. She was a nice looking, slender, blonde Midwestern farm girl in her 20's who worked for my dad. Someone in the office threw a pool party and we two were the last ones hanging around that evening. She was a bit the worse for wear from drink, and attacked me like a wildcat. And came back for more on the sly for the next three or four months, no strings attached. And more than that, can't really put on a family web site. I have tried to think of whether it harmed me in any meaningful way to be thus "molested", but failed. Certainly it has in no way affected my ability to form a rock solid and happy marriage of more than 20 years.
Well, that’s a given in this circumstance. She doesn’t sound like she is going to contest it.

Interesting. It seems that the experience (which I would presume that most 16-year-olds would think is more than great) did not harm you and left you with some pleasant memories.
If you have a happy marriage now and presumably no sexual hang-ups, it definitely was not a negative experience.

I remember when I was 16. I would have considered her Not Guilty.
Mine works well, too.
She is definitely not “like the fist of an angry God” material.
