Corning, N.Y. —
A 40-year-old female East High health teacher admitted Wednesday to having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old male student, which allegedly included a Valentine’s Day tryst in a classroom at the high school.
Teri K. Decker, of Geneva Street, Elmira, admitted she engaged in an inappropriate relationship with the boy by sending him sexually explicit text messages. She pleaded guilty to a single count of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, in city court Wednesday morning.
Corning police allege the relationship also included kissing and groping on multiple occasions, but there was no evidence the two had sex. Decker did not admit to kissing and groping as part of her plea agreement, according to her attorney, David M. Parks.

Heck yeah, and if she were in a better mood and had perhaps a few Jager shots she would be all smiling and competing with the 32-35 year old single women.

Guilty......you don’t mess with your students under any conditions. It’s not like this gal didn’t know about other teachers getting caught...or the school policy. You play the game you end in shame...and hopefully jail. She just flushed her career!
I agree the eyes and lips are not guilty. Ok a few beers wouldn’t hurt.
I’m guessing the cross around her neck is for decorative purposes and not testament of her faith.

Heh...what is it about parochial school that fills us with such a sense of...what? Having belonged to the same club or something? It is as if any of us who spent even a single day under their tutelage bear some kind of mark...or we know the secret handshake...:)

From an adolescents view point this could be the best thing that ever happened to him, but in hind site this is a manipulative, controlling situation that can lead to anything but good.
