Rush Limbaugh describes Rep. Michele Bachmann as a strong spokeswoman for unapologetic conservatism and says the left is making a big mistake by writing her off as a flame-throwing lightweight.
The talk show host waxes wildly enthusiastic about the Minnesota Republican in a profile for Time 100, Time magazines annual list of 100 most influential people.
Limbaugh writes that he is a great admirer of Bachmann, a potential 2012 presidential candidate.
Far from being the fringe outlier depicted by the mainstream media and all too often by some on the right she is a strong spokeswoman for unapologetic conservatism. She is neither extreme nor unreasonable, which is why her philosophy has resonated with grass-roots conservatives, he said.
One reason hes a fan: the way the founder and head of the House Tea Party Caucus responds to a barrage of often-barbed criticism.
She is energized, rather than deterred, by the caustic criticism she constantly endures, he said.

Is there any chance of reversing the order of the primaries this time around??? How about just mixing it all up?

Not really. They have a set order, which they use to gage the race by the the state electoral history. (LIke, “Must win Iowa first”, Republicans can't win without Ohio, etc,)

Why does she sweep the birther issue under the carpet?

She is doing the same thing that Palin is doing. They must believe that it offends the general public and don't want to alienate potential voters.

Because she knows we can win without it, or as The Great One said a few nights ago, “We have fought too hard and long for this...”

I is probably an issue that won't be a factor. But the important thing is that it proves Obama to be a liar and a fraud. Which is why it needs to be pursued.

Absolutely right! It would be very hard to find a better person who is a Conservative AND an outstanding American as Michele Bachmann.

Why does she sweep the birther issue under the carpet?
Well, I don’t know about “under the carpet” - but I don’t focus on it because I have no way of figuring it out. I’ll let a certain billionaire who can figure it out fight that battle. I will be interested to see where it leads.
We all have to pick and choose our battles. Bachmann chooses some very very important battles to fight. I don’t want her fighting Trump’s battle. That’s not sweeping it under the carpet, that’s focusing on what one does best.
It’s called time management.

Obama’s presidency has already proven beyond a doubt he's a fraud and a liar. The birth certificate is crap-shoot or at best a coin-toss. Let the birth issue be fought in the Democrat primaries.

The issue will never be taken to the end. Obama is President, the issues ripping this country apart will trump (No pun intended) the effort to make it a valid issue.
The Supreme Court will just punt again. It's a dead issue as well as a dead end.

Why does she sweep the birther issue under the carpet? Good political tactics, IMO. Right now, Trump is playing the part of a lightning rod to keep the issue out there and raise awareness. He has the $$$$ and media notoriety but really does not have to pay a political price.
