An uncovered letter written by John F Kennedy to the head of the CIA shows that the president demanded to be shown highly confidential documents about UFOs 10 days before his assassination.
The secret memo is one of two letters written by JFK asking for information about the paranormal on November 12 1963, which have been released by the CIA for the first time.
Author William Lester said the CIA released the documents to him under the Freedom of Information Act after he made a request while researching his new book 'A Celebration of Freedom: JFK and the New Frontier.'
The presidents interest in UFOs shortly before his death is likely to fuel conspiracy theories about his assassination, according to AOL News.
Alien researchers say the latest documents, released to Mr Lester by the CIA, add weight to the suggestion that the president could have been shot to stop him discovering the truth about UFOs.

“Bang! Zoom! Straight to the moon, Alice!”
The UFO stuff IS interesting, because I’ve never heard that before, but I think it was just a coincidence with the asassination. The POTUS has all kinds of things cross his desk that we’ll never see. Even though I wish I could. Heck they’re only NOW releasing some FDR papers from WWII. And look at Nixon. They release memoes/tapes from 40 years ago in a trickle. Probably because some of the people on them are still alive. Realistically, who is still alive who would have served in the JFK administration who would be “embarassed” by releasing ALL of his papers?
I agree.
What always surprises me is how young Oswald was, in retrospect.
I did not know that about ‘Reggie’,(look it up younger FReepers). Is that on the square Sunk? Really? I loved Gleason, the best ever!!!
‘Badge Man’ was really an ET. The ‘grassy knoll’ was a landing strip for their ships. That is what caused the confusion....
If I remember right. The TV show Dark Skies played the angle in their canon.
Add another conspiricy theory. JFK was murdered/eliminated for having the intestinal fortitude to have printed something over $200,000,000.oo in USA Treasury notes to be used as monetary exchange instead of Fedral Reserve notes which are actually the property of the international bankers, including the Rothchilds. These bankers as is the situation today could not afford/stand for the USA being independent of the internatioal cabal. Check out where the USA stands as to monetary deficits today, who is involved to get a reading why JFK’s intent was to be a no-go.
Vice President Johnson had him killed. Power and money.
The story is legit, but of course it’s hearsay (through the ex-wife/widow), and also of course, there’s no corroborating evidence per se. :’) Not sure what happened to Gleason’s book collection.
Hey Sunk, I loved ‘The Great One’! HE was a TRUE great, not like these kiddies who act like stars these days and the idiot public who know no better and think they are without peer. The old Gleason TV show with all of the skits and characters was wonderful to see. The Honeymooners was great also. His show from Miami was good but seemed stale some nights. I believe his best job of acting was as Minnesota Fats in The Hustler. Being from that world of pocket billiards scene long ago myself, I can tell you he nailed that role. Interesting enough, the worst thing about that movie was the BS pool shots, ie: shot selections, sequences, pace etc. Even tho the greatest, Willie Mosconi, was the pool tech. adviser. ‘Hollywood’ overruled his attempts at realistic action as it would really happen and demanded ‘tricks’ and ‘gag’ shots which would never be played as such in a high stakes 14.1 session. ‘Requiem for a Heavyweight’, (with a young Cassius Clay as sparring partner), was a role he nailed also. My favorite Gleason line was about Sammy Davis Jr. Said the Great One.......When Sammy hits the golf ball it goes a hundred years but his jewelery goes 150!!”. Then there was his work in music! Wow!! Never gonna be another like ‘im.
I think his last film role was in “Nothing In Common”, with Tom Hanks. It was a great way for him to go out.

JFK was killed by the mob. The shooter was a professional assassin and onetime merc who fired from the second floor of the county records building.
Hmmmmmmm.
Thx.
The problem with studying transient phenomena — including UFO encounters — is that they don’t generally show up at convenient times, and are not reproducible in the precise laboratory sense. They have to be studied in total, in order to find common characteristics. Anything the gubmint may have locked away about sightings, crashes, etc are otherwise unremarkable, and can’t tell us anything about planetary origin etc.
That DVD set is somewhat interesting, not too lurid and tabloidy, decent depth, and isn’t merely regurg’ing the well-known stuff (although some of that has been covered as well).
Alice claimed to her dying day that she was struck by the second shot. ;’)
