reassembling matter is a wee bit tougher than information

We're talking about information but the principle is the same Uhm.. no. Matter and information are not the same. Sending information is easy. Just send a fax. But the fax machine recreates the information. The actual paper is still at the original end of the fax machine. We do not have the technology to create any type of matter at an atomic level at any speed. Don't get me wrong, instantaneous communication has incredible applications, but they need to stop calling it transporting.

(The problem with Obama is not that his skin is too black, it's that his ideas are too RED.)

For that you'd need a zero-dispersion teleprompter apparatus.

"To do this, the researchers developed a "broadband, zero-dispersion teleportation apparatus" and a whole new set of "hybrid protocols involving discrete- and continuous-variable techniques in quantum information processing for optical sciences,"
That crap just made my head NUMB. English translation please!

You put your whole self in,
You put your whole self out;
You put your whole self in,
And you shake it all about.
You do the Hokey-Pokey,
And you turn yourself around.
That’s what it’s all about

What if the Hokey-Pokey really IS what it’s all about?

"In the end, the researchers managed to 'remove' the quantum information from space, and it was resurrected in another place"
It was simply their observation of that information that made it look like information.
If they had not observed it, it would not have exhibited itself in that manner:)
Gotta love that Quantum Logic lol
