Lydia...now there's a cook.....I do like Ina Garten even if she only has gay friends....I do like Bobby Flay....
I think Arty Party was the worst show from last year.
Chopped is it for me.
Knock-off of the British "Supersizers Go", and "Supersizers Eat" series that aired in 2008 and 2009 respectively. I downloaded these two series from UK torrent sites. Excellent programs. Between the two, the periods covered were Medieval, Edwardian, French Revolution, Elizabethan, Regency, Restoration, Roman, Victorian, World War II, the 20's, 50's, 70's, and 80's.
Check this out. Five worst shows on FN. Number One: Cupcake Wars. YES!

We check out the Food Network and Travel Channel occasionally, when there isn’t anything else on (which is fairly often; especially toward the end of the week). Their stuff has gotten really bad. There’s no ‘Travel’ in the Travel Channel, and the FN has some of the most worthless ‘upscale’ oriented garbage I could imagine.
Oh crap! Not another F-ing stupid food challenge?
You know their fresh out of ideas when they have a Cup Cake Challenge!
Hey Foo Network, here’s an idea...how about some good old-fashioned cooking shows!
I’ve quit watching this lame network.
Ha - I’ve been watching that site for awhile. They are funny and right on the money.
There are some bad shows on the Food Network, but NONE comes close to that stupid “Hungry Girl” show on the Cooking Channel.
I actually looked online to figure out who she was...and as I suspected, she is married to a TV producer..it really was the only possible explanation. Last week, she had a show about pizza...where she suggested using tomato soup in place of sauce (GAG!!!); that was just before the segment where she made a pizza with a chicken crust...yes, chicken.
It’s like a car accident; it comes on, I grow more horrified as the show unfolds, yet I cannot look away.
Here is one:
“How to prepare meals with Radiative vegetables”.
Here is one:
“How to prepare meals with Radioactive vegetables”.
I like the Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond. I have her cookbook and use it frequently, especially the cinnamon roll recipe.
Food Network was good when it was basically Emeril, Mario, Ina, Alton, Sarah, Bobby and even Giada . They all really knew how to COOK and we learned new things. I especially liked Emeril, Alton and Mario. Rachel came on and was an interesting enough novelty for once in a while. At first I enjoyed her show, and initially Paula also. But they both became too “cutsey.” And I tired of hearing about their husbands, families, etc. The earlier Iron Chef was good, but then it also became boring. Now all these new winners of the various competitions they hold for new show hosts really have nothing worth watching, and I hate the restaurant travel shows. I especially hate Man vs Food. It is disgusting. I just wish they would re-run the good cooking shows from the earlier days of their programming.
Thanks, this is a really funny site!! I’m sending it to my nephew who’s studying to be a chef (he’s watched FN for a long time and will get some good laughs :-)

I enjoyed Ace of Cakes for the simple reason that the people working together actually got along and liked each other.
I guess drama and bickering sells but I just can’t watch the stuff. The Teutul family in the chopper series was the worst, to me. I loved watching the creative and production process but it always felt like a little part of my soul had been twisted after watching the father and sons go after each other and their employees like they did.
