How about a feature that automatically takes you to your post so you can read it, like we all do, instead of taking you to the beginning of the thread.

I have a suggestion for the software. How about a box that pops up when I'm posting that says something to effect of: Attention, you've been clicking from thread to thread, and you're about to reply to a topic that has been dead for 3 years, are you sure you want to look like an idiot? I for one would find it useful. :) Well, the problem is that Free Republic fights the Undead Rats who endlessly recycle their failures into new waves of idiocy that have to be dealt with. So the past isn't really the past with them, since it's all they've got, and they use it over and over and over again.
