That’s stretching it. This is the 50th anniversary of the first man in space, worth noting.

Told my co-workers “Google lost it's sponsor, so they have a new one. Just look and see for yourself.” They are confused by it.

No big surprise. Google is socialist thus communist lite. I don’t use it any more.

"This is the 50th anniversary of the first man in space, worth noting."

I agree. It also reminds me of how we totally kicked their ass in space during the 1960s(I wasn't alive then, but I heard a little something about it lol)!

D-Day nothing, Perl Harbor Day Nothing.

I'm guessing that if they did do a Pearl Harbor logo, some folks around here would be saying that Google was celebrating Japan's victorious assault.

“I agree. It also reminds me of how we totally kicked their ass in space during the 1960s(I wasn’t alive then, but I heard a little something about it lol)!”

And now, thanks to Barry NASA is being gutted and our missions to the moon and Mars have been cancelled. After the space shuttles are retired and sent to museums we’re going to have to hitch a ride into space from ... the Russians!!!! As the Russians gave us a space wakeup call in the late 1950s and early 1960s we’re going to have another one in the coming years. If China or some other country makes it back the moon, a mission to Mars would then be the trump card.

Question. Where did you get those? I did look around a little bit before I posted my rant and didn’t find anything (that was easy or obvious).

They’re celebrating human achievement. It’s not Google’s fault that we were second to put a man in space.

I wonder if Google will conmemorate the time when Ronald Wilson Reagan tore down the Berlin Wall and got rid of Communism in Eastern Europe without firing a single shot.
