That’s stretching it. This is the 50th anniversary of the first man in space, worth noting.
D-Day nothing, Perl Harbor Day Nothing. A commie takes a ride on a German designed missile, we get this... BS...
Ping me when they celebrate anything American.
Ice cream sundae day was a few weeks ago.
No big surprise. Google is socialist thus communist lite. I don’t use it any more.
I agree. It also reminds me of how we totally kicked their ass in space during the 1960s(I wasn't alive then, but I heard a little something about it lol)!
Ask and ye shall receive. A small selection:
Mars Rover
Edison's birthday
Thanksgiving (one of many)
Veterans Day
Hubble telescope
I'm guessing that if they did do a Pearl Harbor logo, some folks around here would be saying that Google was celebrating Japan's victorious assault.
Thanks. That’s refreshing.

And now, thanks to Barry NASA is being gutted and our missions to the moon and Mars have been cancelled. After the space shuttles are retired and sent to museums we’re going to have to hitch a ride into space from ... the Russians!!!! As the Russians gave us a space wakeup call in the late 1950s and early 1960s we’re going to have another one in the coming years. If China or some other country makes it back the moon, a mission to Mars would then be the trump card.
Question. Where did you get those? I did look around a little bit before I posted my rant and didn’t find anything (that was easy or obvious).
Duh.
They’re celebrating human achievement. It’s not Google’s fault that we were second to put a man in space.
How many men did the Soviet achievement leave in space?.
I wonder if Google will conmemorate the time when Ronald Wilson Reagan tore down the Berlin Wall and got rid of Communism in Eastern Europe without firing a single shot.
