Tiger turns in an amazing front nine. If it holds, could be one of the best come backs in a long time.
Us?
Bitter much?
Yup, he’s a good golfler, but he shurely blew it for me as a good person.
Eldrick played the last 10 holes in even par. He had his chance and couldn’t take advantage.

Like there is something else that inspires hatred of Tiger.
Thinly-veiled references to racism...isn't that typically a liberal tactic?
Babe Ruth lived in a different media era. I guarantee you that if news broke that Phil Mickelson was the same kind of moral reprobate as Tiger, there would be at least as much disdain for Phil, and even more from the media.

Oh, shoot, you caught me! Yeah, I’m a liberal, alright.
Why do they allow those so fake bird sounds in the background of the Masters?
Like what?

Yep. He took a pretty good run at it on the front nine, but fell on the backside - kind of opposite of what he usually does at Augusta. First round he’s played in a long time though where he looked like himself...his putter failed him. Hell of a shot on 15, thought he might shake it off, but there were some pretty good young players out there that closed. I never saw an ending with that many guys in the hunt. Good new crop of young players from European Tour.

I dunno...you got some of the great sports heros in history who did just as much (maybe worse) but this guy is getting crushed. Except Ty Cobb, (who was white, so we can put the race card away) I can’t think of anyone that was that dominant in his sport that was so soundly trounced for off-field behavior. It’s weird.
With liberal influence, America is much weaker than it was relative to the rest of the world, and most days I don't feel like being here either. But there's no better place to go. Rory's 21, so I'll give him some slack.
IMO only, woods has “used” some enhancements...perhaps HGH....perhaps steroids....don’t know for sure but he did have associates that were connected with such..

If you look at his physique now, and look at his physique when he was unbeatable, there’s NO QUESTION he was using performance enhancement drugs, IMHO. Still, the game of golf is truly more mental than physical at that level, but ANY enhancement is a step above the rest in terms of potential. He was “the Great Black Hope”, and a marketing phenomenon as a black (although he’s bi-racial, in fact), and the promotion was all about him being a black golfer in today’s PC world....
Go Rory!
Why don't you change your name to 'Free Ireland52' and be done with it.
We also know it's not ours to condemn...
Phil or Greg Norman were labeled as chokers. McIlroy seems to have gotten a pass today. One more crash and burn like that, and he will be labeled a choker too, fair or not.
McIlroy is a 21 year old. He held up well through is first three rounds. Today, the 4th round, was the test. His youth and inexperience showed. That's not a choker, that's a young man being tried beyond his capabilities. I can't say how he'll factor what happened into his development, but I wish him well. I hope he comes back and succeeds. Look at Dustin Johnson for a lesson on that...
Well, that label of Phil being a choker was really accurate, wasn't it? As for Norman, it was, but how can we say that about a 21 year old who was good enough to lead through 3 rounds of the Masters?
This is a stupid discussion. The kid has his life before him. Maybe, in all fairness, we should wait and see how that plays out...??????
