Oh yeah, I can kind of see it. Matthew is cuter, though.

I love Lauren, but didn’t like this song choice.
To: LA Woman3
Simon would have hated her performance.

Thanks for the welcome. Great thread! If anyone is ripe for an automatic record deal right now I think it's Scotty. Nashville will scoop him up in a hurry. And OT, I do feel a bit of an outsider not being on The Donald's bandwagon).

Not my favorite song either. Some Alison Krauss would be a great choice. She has got such a gorgeous, angelic voice.

I didn’t like the song either, Lauren’s better than that so-so song.

Lauren Alaina
Lauren has the pimp spot tonight.
Her song is Sara Evans' "Born To Fly". Awesome! And how beautiful is she? She could win this show.
Highly
Steven: You're so good naturally. I'd love you to sing more Alison Krauss, some Shania Twain, something like that (but he like this too)
J-Lo: So much character. [encourages her to let go] You can do that!
Randy: Ms. Lopez is right on. Every now and then glimpses come out. This was a cool performance but you can do ANYTHING. Challenge yourself, Lauren.
To: peggybac
Simon would have hated her performance.Yes. I heard Simon in my head going, "Self-indulgent." LOL

WHILE I am on the subject....WHY not LOBBY American IDOL to have a Beg A Thon for our AMERICAN TROOPS????? I mean,...HOW crazy...........a Telethon for OUR WARRIORS.......(Guess that idea isnt Liberal enough for these self-righteous pukes) (spit)

Exactly! I do miss him!
To: no one in particular
Scotty B Newman Awesome. Safe. But awesome. If you give me a record deal today and end the show, it would be win-win for everyone.
James of the Flambert Hair WE. WILL. USE. HAAAAAIR. GEL. WE. WILL. NOT. GET. HAAAAAAIR. CUTS. Well done, otherwise. He can sing! At least until he starts screeching.
Haley has picked up where Kazoo left off by honking the music out of her nose. But other than that -- and the gargling screeches -- it wasn't too bad.
The Diva-man In the Mirror I spent the entire time discussing Muse with the spouse. Whatever tune Lusk sang was completely ignorable.
Gnocchi Alfredo I desperately wanted to like this one, but it was just aww'ight. He's all kinds of fun to watch, though.
Little Ricky Blonde back-up singers? Who knew? They were excellent.
Pickler II Remember Guess outfits back in the late 80's? Her outfit is such a throwback. The song was aww'iight.
Best of the night: Jordin's Spark's little African Cats preview thing. Followed by the mooing cows in the Chick-Fil-A commercial.
Going home: Probably the Diva-man in the Mirror or Little Ricky.
