Poor children. It's clear that left to their own devices, they didn't ever study stage and screen and the fabulous history of it all. The movies were B movies. The songs were not well known as movie classics.

These are ignorant children in a singing contest. Where's the real music education? This proves that no matter how much money you throw at schools, they SUCK.

Paul is like a contender for the triple crown. I never know how he’s gonna place until the end. He did well last night but he does have a lighter quality in his voice and pitch can suffer. I have a soft voice and am on guard re: pitch followed by tempo. The connection is the easiest for me and stage presence. I like to arrange as I go as well which doesn’t work if I’m in an ensemble or choir. I arrange as I go when I’m solo so I don’t get in trouble.

I’m so sick of Ole Man River. Every director drags that out of the spiderwebs. Porgy & Bess has other tunes that not as well known that aren’t done to death. Jacob toned his whole self down last night and got scolded by Jimmy for lecturing the folks.

These contestants missed an opportunity to explore stage and screen going back to the beginning and selecting from a muoltitude of award winning songs. Instead, they picked mostly lesser known or easy songs that had little meaning. I think on song choice, most of them epic fail. Stage and screen didn’t start the day they were born but that’s how they chose! Now I think they’re all simpletons for not exploring music’s history.

They picked terrible songs from the movie genre. I was shocked they picked such blah, unknown and still unknown songs for movie night. I thought Casey did the best last night and he creeps me out. At least he went back to a decade he wasn’t born in. Music is about going back in time, not singing about Richard Gere, call boy.

Obama’s such a fraud posing to be the hero of the middle class. All Americans are suffering greatly over the price of absolutely everything. Obama doesn’t seem to be aware that even poor people have cars that require gasoline.
