During the earlier days of the Iraq war Geraldo did a spot acting like he was reporting from the front lines during a fire fight. It came out he actually filmed the spot back at the base miles away from any fighting. All his historonics, ducking and wincing were pure staged BS.

It really didn’t look like they were taking enemy fire direct or indirect. It looked like Geraldo playing army commander and wishing he had enlisted at some point in his life.
