Joining Ian Punnett, Daniel Drezner, professor of international politics at Tufts University, will examine how political leaders would react to a world-wide Zombie assault.

“It isnt Coast to Coast without Martian anal probes.”

I call the show, Kook to Kook.
I listen for the laughs, admitting however, that it is a broadcast classic.
Art and I both live in the Philippines, and became ham
radio ops. about the same time in the late 50s.
They had a guy, a few days ago, that is first name basis with ALL the aliens.
He done been to their planets, don’tcha know?
They chauffeur him around to all those other worlds.
Really fascinating stuff, haha.
I do admit, however, they SOMETIMES have real people with
interesting economic and Earth news.
Can’t listen to the show because .. BECAUSE you can’t ever get through the opening, the middle or the end of the show without falling asleep!
First it’s FIVE minutes of the opening tune.
If that weren’t long or bad enough .. It is then TEN Minutes of the most ‘grating’, ‘monotonous’ voice reciting FORTY phone numbers to call in on!
(West of the Rockies, East of the Rockies, On the Moon, Down by the Boardwalk .. On and On and On)
Now “IF” that wasn’t enough .. You get the “Monotone” telling you How to send a TEXT to IAN or ART or JOHN or .. YOUR MAMA!
On and On this crap goes and then .. Guess What?
The HOST finally gets to Say Something and What does he say? .. He says that he will be Right Back after some messages!
NO THANKS!!!
Ian Punnet, or the Zombies?
>>Probably not well, since Zombies are scientifically impossible.<<
And yet, they are plotting their takeover even as we post...
>>Cant listen to the show because .. BECAUSE you cant ever get through the opening, the middle or the end of the show without falling asleep!<<
Trust me, I have been driving in the wee hours and Art (rarely) and George (usually) and sometimes others have kept me awake and laughing.
The EARNESTNESS of their voices and interviews with people is such a hoot that I have LMAO (almost) for hundreds of miles!
Wasn’t there a zombie invasion in 2008 when people voted for Obama. I wonder what the invasion will look like in 2012? How exactly do you exterminate Zombies?
The Democrats will be registering them to vote!
There would also be a drive to recognize their union.
You mean to tell me that there is someone who actually TALKS about something on that show?
I thought that it was called Coast to Coast because the Phone Number Guy recited phone numbers all night!?
>>You mean to tell me that there is someone who actually TALKS about something on that show?<<
Self-styled experts who claim they not only had martian anal probes, but were hoping for them again.
Thanks for the thread. Zombies! Finite number of bullets, not going to be a finite number of walking dead.
I almost thought that it was a music station.
First you have that God Awful Ten Minute lead in tune and then there is all this talk about the Zombies .. one of my Favorite 60’s groups!
7 Scientific Reasons a Zombie Outbreak Would Fail (Quickly)
“Chilly Billy”, Bill Cardille from Pittsburgh’s Channel 11 was the reporter. I believe he was the host of Friday night horror movies, also the TV weatherman at Ch.11?
(Pittsburghers will remember TV’s Nick Perry from Bowling for dollars, I rode the elevator with him, and he invited me to have a coffee when we got to the fourth floor, I believe he was part owner of a vending machine services company.. That coffee must have cost him a dime, but I am sure that somehow it got back into his pocket!)
When Night of the Living Dead was made, I was working in Pittsburgh as an engineering clerk (my first job out of H.S.) in the Piping department at engineering firm Swindell-Dressler located at the corner of Smithfield & 5th. for minimum wage of $300/mth.
“Wish I could turn back the clock, those were fun days for me..!”

It’s not always crazy, they still have some good guests on about medical type stuff, ancient archeology, that kind of thing.
So I gave in and turned on the zombie show.
Now I’ve been listening to Art and C2C since back around 1994 or so. Way back then, it was on early Sunday evenings...
In the entire time I’ve listened, tonights show has got to be the stupidest crap I ever heard!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Kinda what I figured.
Didn’t check it out at all.
You didn’t miss anything.
Hey, I admit that a certain percentage of what they have on the show might be bogus. This is nothing new, there used to be “True Magazine” and “Fate”, all those things.
But Coast has always tried to present itself as a somewhat serious investigation into oddball claims.
Tonights show was an utter joke. A complete pantomime. They lost alot of credibility in my book.
