there is a thread here on Free Republic ... that I read and was very interested in their ideas a few months ago (regarding being prepared, extra food, water, seeds, equipment, medical kit, etc. how to have a hide away, A cave in the woods, burying necessities, water, cover, things for warmth, fire, medicine, etc., and of course telling no one.

One of the posters was named granny, or grandma .. ???
