One by one, conservatives are expressing their displeasure in the way Speaker of the House John Boehner is leading the new Republican majority in the House of Representatives. Conservative talker Mark Levin has expressed his frustration on a nightly basis in recent weeks.

I'm not one to just sit it out. What's your cat's name? It might as well get two votes, and I'd rather vote for your pussy than the one in the picture.
When Boehner said that that promised $100 billion in cuts was for the next budget, not the current one, I saw that as a massive ‘fold’ on the House GOP’s.
Their defunding of NPR bill as a standalone was nothing but showboating. They knew it stood zero chance. Otherwise, they would have tacked it onto the CR or some other ‘must pass’ legislation.
What started my suspicions to grow though was that “behind closed doors” lunch that he and, I believe it was Cantor, had with Biden and some others a few weeks back. Do you remember that?
I suspect there are alot of ‘behind closed door’ meetings going on and we're being sold down the drain again.
It’s very sad that the establishment GOP folds EVEN WHEN THEY WIN, as they did in the midterms. They act as if it is a sin to win and act on their mandate.
David Niven wasn’t in that movie. You mean Alec Guinness.
STUPID REPUBLICANS LED BY STUPID REPUBLICANS. WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT?
He's got Trent Lott's toupee, too.
It’s stunning. Do they get threatened? Are their families threatened? What the hell is it to cause these maniacs to sell the greatest Nation down the tubes?
It’s evil
Yikes - of course I meant Alec Guiness.
I owned a copy of that film on VHS and reran it a couple of years ago. I found Guiness’s character so loathesome I couldn’t finish watching the film and threw it in the garbage.
I was a Democrat when I bought the film. lol
“...Republican that disses the TEA party...”
That makes two of us.
“Too many of the GOP leadership are of the go along to get along variety.”
I would expand that statement to say pretty much all of the GOP leadership at this point are go along get alongs. I have tried to be supportive of Tammy Faye and the Young Guns but its becoming pretty apparent they are all going to fold on this budget deal and they don’t have the stones to block raising the debt ceiling. That debt ceiling is their only ace in the hole and they are too scared to use it.
Disgusting. The day of reckoning is coming and they will not be insulated when we go over the cliff. In fact, when that happens we should hunt the bastards down even before the dems because the repubs were put into office to GUARD the gate; NOT breach it themselves. Which is exactly what they’ve been doing for decades.
That should be clear to everybody.
Palin ‘gets it’
At least Bob Dole was a wounded vet, his one admirable trait. I can’t think of one for Boehner. Surely there is a good Tea Party candidate who could take him out in next year’s primary.
The NPR bill is fine with me. Although there’s no chance of it passing thru the Senate, it shows where the Republicans stand on principles and something we can bring with us for the ‘12 election. Now we need to pass 100 billion dollar cuts thru the House and as expected, the Senate won’t even consider it. Fine, then it’s time to shut the government down.
Unfortunately, two white males for the ‘12 GOP Presidential ticket will bring out the race card BIG TIME, from the left, and this, alone, will be enough to ensure that Obama is, successfully, re-elected. There are way too many ignorant voters and way too many stupid voters throughout the entire U.S.! For the ‘12 GOP Presidential ticket to succeed and win in ‘12, the best that the GOP can do is have a woman and another minority form the ticket, and two examples of this would be: Sarah Palin/Herman Cain or Sarah Palin/Allen West. Being able to, successfully, end any “race card crap” will be essential, if the GOP, really, wants to win the ‘12 Presidency. Denying that the left wants to play the race card game in order to help Obama get re-elected will end up really helping Obama get re-elected.
The number one lesson was that individual citizens are responsible for participating in, and influencing, the electoral process throughout the electoral cycle; not just the few weeks prior to an election. Establishment Republicans run the Republican Party because, and only because, most Republican voters let them do so. Establishment Republicans really want voters to leave the party, or at least leave it alone, so that they, the elitists, can control the party rule-making and decide what names get consideration for the ballots.
In states that have closed primaries, quitting the Republican Party is a de facto concession to absolute communism, where the Democrats and the liberal Republicans (usually former Democrats) freely choose who gets on the ballots of both major parties. Voters get to choose on election day between an overt communist or a stealth communist. Then they complain about the consequences of their own civic neglect.
Even in states with open or semi-open primaries, individual citizens are still capable of influencing future elections, if they bother to get involved.
The National Precinct Alliance provided the framework for the 2010 TEA Party success, starting long before the primary elections, state by state. And the result was the greatest coast-to-coast conservative gains in the history of the USA. While some complain that we didn't win 100%, they ignore the historically gargantuan progress we did make.

Dennis Hastert lead us into this mess, he was the worst and has escaped all responsibility for the mess we and the repubs are in. He was just another Illinois Progressive handing all he could to his family and never taking a stand for squat. Boehner comes from a union state and doesn’t have a clue that all union leadership is socialist (commie). It seems that people in DC are quite impressed with themselves and don’t care how bad a situation they have put the country in.
