I recently watched a video of actress Susan Sarandon being interviewed at the protest in Wisconsin. Susan bravely cheered for solidarity, decried plutocracy in America and she spoke out about those horrible, greedy people known as ‘The Wealthy.’
Of course, I naturally thought she was talking about HERSELF. After all, Susan Sarandon has been a famous movie star for many decades, and I was pretty sure she had accumulated quite a bit of money.
But no, apparently “The Wealthy” Sarandon spoke of was Wisconsin’s Governor Scott Walker (or as she called him, “idiot Walker”).
“It takes a lot of courage and conviction and solidarity to make this work,” Ms. Sarandon said, sporting a chic military-style jacket and hat. Very protest-y.
Being a Christian Conservative and obviously not as intelligent as someone like Susan Sarandon (aka “Janet” from “Rocky Horror Picture Show”), I was confused. Unless Sarandon recently lost all her movie star money, how can she pretend to be one of us regular people? Come to think of it, I had assumed all the movie stars, directors and politicians who constantly spout their anti-America/anti-capitalism venom were very, very rich.

Much as I love her movies, I will never watch another. Time better spent investigating naval lint.

Believe it or not, her mother is a die-hard Republican and even tried to ‘adopt” her granddaughter away from Sarandon because the mother knew she was insane. Initially tried to blame it on Tim Robbins. Then years later, it was found out that TR was giving money to right-wing GOP politicians which looked absurd because TR is a well-known liberal. So basically, it came down to the daughter being crazy on her own.

She plays s*uts in movies so no acting is required. Hollywood can go to h*ll.
I love her acting as well but will continue to go way ‘out of my way’ to avoid contributing one cent to her personal ‘poverty’. I just won’t do it.
The worst of the bunch will always be Jane Fonda, aka Hanoi Jane, though. Susan has nothing better to do with her down time since she isn't working much these days. Let's hope she will not feel the need to travel to the enemy camps in the world to badmouth our country and our soldiers like Jane did.

Yep, this is the “cream of the crop” of the Hollywood Left, “spoiled, rotten, stinking cream” that look and sound and smell like curdled horseshit.
I remember Firesign Theater... they were great. I liked their Sherlock Holmes and the Giant Rat of Sumatra and a number of other albums. Very psychedelic whacked out stuff to trip on.
And this is correct, as the line is quoted at the very last of the Wikipedia article on the cited album. I also note that Google is all over FR, as I found my own comments within a few minutes of posting them, when searching searching for this corroboration, right at the top. I always wonder about that. I wonder if this post will come up number one in a search for GOOGLE ... hmmmmmmmmmmmm ?

You left out Danny Glover for the hateful hate-filled with America-hatred list. Don’t forget John F-ing Kerry; he served four hellish months in Vietnam AND Cambodia.
I’m a young whippersnapper of 62, newly forced to retire. Open heart surgery coming up this month. Served in South Vietnam while Fond’a Peters was servicing the North Vietnamese. Disliked Hollywood ever since. Watched these wealthy hypocrites grow rich on a system they profess to hate while vets go homeless.
Haven’t set foot in a movie theater since 1981. Haven’t missed it. A walk in the fresh air for the same amount of time does a body a lot more good. Laughing at these cinema simians taking themselves oh so seriously is even more healthy.
