On any given day, Glenn Beck’s show at 5:00 PM Eastern on Fox News, has better ratings than Fox’s Greta Van Susteren’s show that runs at night, prime time shall we say. Susteren, regardless how weak she is versus the others in the evening at FNC, is still stronger than the hot-heads on MSNBC and the losers at CNN. Therefore, it is strange the Drudge Report-posted pending NYT story that Fox and Beck will part ways.
Indeed, Beck being “extreme” may be the reason as to why Beck may end his career at Fox. However if he is extreme, in addition to having ratings way better than Maddow, Shultz and others, maybe MSNBC should hire Beck…

MSNBC would be too dumb to lure away a guy of his caliber. Plus I don’t think Beck would fare well on liberal media. Remember he had a show on CNN before he came to Fox. CNN stuck him on their trashy headline news station.
I’ve recently switched from watching Beck to watching anything on Fox Business. Beck has shot his wad. No reason to watch him anymore. He continues to moan the same story (not untrue, but the same story).
Like I said earlier, I’ll wait until something actually happens, but you certainly bring up some great points.

Exactly. Beck has been the one closest thing we have to a watchdog in our media ...
Maybe he’s getting ready for Presidential run? I can’t think of why he’d make a major change in his career with this timing.
Beck has a contract. This is just a hit piece by the NYT.

and.....its not like our enemies are even a LITTLE BIT obsessed....BECK IS A GENIUS...plain and simple...and worth millions....smart people have lots of smart people who listen to them...and tend to be rich as well, ....i give you other giants...MICHELLE, LAURA, ANNIE, SEAN, RUSH..etc etc America’s top notch EAGLES OF A FEATHER....brains and money and influence they’re sort of how the successful keep score, you see..

It’s just that the story first first appeared on the New York Slimes website, and well, I had to stop lining my bird’s cage with the NYT because Polly started to complain that it wasn’t worthy of her poop.
The NY Slimes wouldn’t know the truth if it mule kicked them in the face.
