A well done parody of "Casey At The Bat" updated for modern times... HERE

Why not post it here where FReepers can enjoy it?

We got our first TV in 1945. I was five and my uncles introduced me to baseball, (they came over to our house to watch baseball. I grew up in Belleville NJ and we watched the Yankees, Dodgers and Giants!)

Every spring when baseball season opened the Sunday paper included the Parade magazine which would include Casey at the Bat. I would bring it to school and me and my friends would take turns reading this poem. The girls would always scowl since this was a "Guy thing".

I saw this a while back, but it is well worth posting again, if it can give a smile to conservatives who could use one!

Thanks for posting it!
