For those of you who watched IDOL this evening,were you shocked on who the final ten were?,and then even more shocked on who were picked for the three wild card spots? It was bad enough that two of the best female singers didn't make the top then,and then to add insult to injury,Randy,Jenifer&Steve chose the two black female singers of whom were the least impressive of the six wild card contestants. It was so obvious that the judges were more concerned that they would of been declared racists if they didn't have at least one black female singer amongst the final 12. This will likely come back to haunt them. Let's just wait and see who gets eliminated first.
Who cares? Do you buy “people” magazine too? I’m saddened to know we have FReepers that watch that crap.
For a good viewing experience, I highly recommend Glorious Basterds.
I’m still watching..Stefano didn’t get in? He was incredible. Oh well. Just postponing the inevitable. THe winners were already in the top 10. There are some great singers there. Win or lose. Incredible talent this year.

The top 10 are voted by the viewers. Nobody ever said the best singers voted in by viewers. The black girl with the colorful outfit was AMAZING in her second chance audition. They are all good. Just like politics..it’s not the best person, it’s the best performer.
you know,the first 5 or 6 choices for the top ten were fair choices,then when they sent two of the better girls home,you knew something was up. now the show will suck because now we have maybe 7or 8 great singers,and the other half closer to Wedding Singer Status. Just once,why can’t we have an American Idol series with 12 Fantastic Singers?

I thought Kendra was the best of the female wild card contestants. The girl in the colorful dress, Naima (sp?) also did well in her wild card performance. But I think you’re right about the other black wild card girl. I believe she was probably chosen over Kendra because she’s black.
Actually, I’m more annoyed by the Hispanic girl who sang in Spanish and keeps crowing and gloating about “Latino” this and “Latino” that, “I’m going to be the first Latina Idol,” etc. Her mom was shown in the audience holding a Mexican flag. The fine print on the credits says that American Idol reserves the right to pick the winner if the vote is close. I have a hunch the vote was close between the Latina girl and someone else, and the producers chose her for her race. Must be PC, you know, and get every race represented! It’s really getting silly, all this bean counting, but everybody knows it’s happening.
Overall, I'm a happy camper.

A shame. He was a good singer.
Ya know what? They were all very good singers. They were going for people who have a bit of personality and those two gals did have style. By the way, Stefano did get in!
Great news. I had not seen the show yet as we will watch it tonight (Italy plays the show the following day). I look forward to seeing how it plays out. I of course went to American Idol.com and know basically what happened. lol.
How long have you been in Italy? How come I didn’t know that. I’ve seen you here for years. What are you doing there?
