May I introduce my granddaughter Avery? She was just one hour old. She has the red spots on her eyelids, but that will fade away. She was weary and just wanted to sleep. She weighed 6 lb 6 oz, and is 19" long. Red hair.

You betcha. Actually, you know you will get bombarded for the next three or four years. LOL

Thanks you. Of course, no one hour baby is beautiful, but they are precious. I have lots of pictures that I took through the window as the nurse and her Daddy cleaned her up, but she was a real mess then. I have to brag on her Daddy. He has really turned out to be a super dad. He cleaned up that messy baby, dressed her and got her ready to go to Mommy. When we went back to the hospital this evening, he changed her third diaper and said, “You really CAN love more than one.” He said he thought he couldn’t love any child as much as he loves Emma. I am so proud of him. Aw shucks, I’m getting sentimental.

Thank you jaycee. They really are angels aren’t they. So dependent on the goodness of those around them, and so often betrayed. I can’t imagine anyone hurting one of these little ones.

The Blonde Guy

An Irishman, a Mexican and a blonde guy were doing construction work on scaffolding on the 20th floor of a building. They were eating lunch and the Irishman said, "Corned beef and cabbage! If I get corned beef and cabbage one more time for lunch I'm going to jump off this building."

The Mexican opened his lunch box and exclaimed, "Burritos again! If I get burritos one more time I'm going to jump off, too."

The blond opened his lunch and said, "Bologna again. If I get a bologna sandwich one more time, I'm jumping too."

The next day the Irishman opened his lunch box, saw corned beef and cabbage and jumped to his death.

The Mexican opened his lunch, saw a burrito and jumped too.

The blonde guy opened his lunch, saw the bologna and jumped to his death as well.

At the funeral the Irishman's wife was weeping. She said, "If I'd known how really tired he was of corned beef and cabbage, I never would have given it to him again!"

The Mexican's wife also wept and said, "I could have given him tacos or enchiladas! I didn't realize he hated burritos so much."

Everyone turned and stared at the blonde's wife.

"Hey, don't look at me,"

she said, "He makes his own lunch."
