Flowers From The Garden
There is a window in your heart, that opens on a garden,
A place you can retreat to when you need to ask for pardon,
For having been abusive, to the child that lives in you,
By simply asking way too much, for any child to do.
Don't ask for the surrender, of childhood dreams so gay,
That they could always bring a smile, despite a rainy day.
The toys we had as children, were of the simplest sort,
A cardboard tube became a sword, a cardboard box a fort.
Children can be happy, they've learned the art of play,
Try not to lose that talent as you go about your day.
With all the noise and bustle that distracts you from that art,
Take time to smell the flowers from the garden in your heart.

TREES
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree
A tree whose hungry mouth is pressed
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day
And lifts her leafy arms to pray,
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair
Upon whose blossom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems were made by fools like me
But only God can make a tree.”
Joyce Kilmer

We are surrounded by miracles we do not see or notice.
Babies, our brain, seeing, hearing, the heart, our blood system, our broken bones grow back together, cuts heal, eggs, dirt, air, gravity, our planet is exactly the right distance from the sun to support life, day, night. Seasons. Speech.
We take is all as ordinary and just how it is. No wonder ... at/of it all.
Forgive us Father for our nonchalant way of responding to this fantastic world and mankind. The treasure of the Holy Bible, Scriptures, knowledge of God, wisdom of the ages. Our lives are like a vapor that appears for a little while and then disappears.

James 4:14
King James Bible
“Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

A few years ago there was a movie,
“Like Water For Chocolate” I did not read the book yet.
It was interesting, focused on a family and how the younger daughter had to care for Mama and not marry. ... She did the cooking for all. She cooked with love for her beloved. She cooked with anger for her sister that had digestion problems, and was going to marry her beloved.
Rent it and stay with it. It does not move too fast.
IE the food prepared with love did miracles ...
Wouldn’t it be great if we could do all that we do, with love?
It would or might remake the world of today.
Sometime lets take a day, and all day, do all with love.
