I meant to explain the low visibility was from smoke from the fires they were experiencing.

2 Timothy 4
Preach the Word
1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at[a] His appearing and His kingdom
: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
...

Watch out for the thorns. Painful indeed to pierce a finger or nose, or hand with the thorns of a rose bush.
So easy to do. Many lovely things are painful to be in close proximity thereof.

Fortunately, I've never had my nose pierced with a thorn! A cats claw and dogs paw, yes!, but never a thorn! :)

Thanks, Jaycee. I love to watch videos of some of the old Dean Martin shows. They are classics.
It is sad to see how many great entertainers we have lost. I watched part of the Oscars and it was so obvious that today’s stars cannot compare to the legends.

"Windflowers" by J.W. Waterhouse (1903) Blow, Wild March Wind
by William Wilsey Martin (1885)
Blow, wild March wind! In hollows of the lea,
In copses low, thy bride awaiteth thee
The timid, saint-like, white anemone.
She will not show her face, though woo’d by kings,
Till o'er her beat the pulsings of thy wings.
Blow, wild March wind! that we her face may see,
Through pine-clad gorges by our northward sea,
Through English woodlands where the blackcap sings.
Blow, wild March wind!
She lifts her face. The answering passion stings
Her veined leaves, at the rough kiss he brings.
Sing round her bridal couch thy melody,
Thy breath is life to her. Apart from thee
She droops and dies, the frailest of frail things
Then blow, March wind!

Don't take it, d'Ogee!
It's a TRICK!
They will poke your bottom
With a big needle!
While you sit there
chewing that treat!
