I just called him. He sounded good but he has not seen any doctors yet this morning.
He has kind of accepted that the leg will have to be removed but not sure when. I’m praying that they can relieve his pain and still postpone the amputation.
Thank you for your prayers.
I meant to tell you the candles are so pretty, yorkie.
I have to lay down for my back for a while.
Thank you for letting us know, Amy. I’m praying for total healing and that no amputation will be necessary. He has been through so much for such a long period of time. Bless his heart.
I believe that is the prayer of week from all of us.
Let us pray, if we ever had to face such a serious happening in our life, our attitude would be as positive as his!
God Bless you and be with you, Jim!
Amen!!!
No such thing as too many prayers!
Thank you for the sweet compliments. I had forgotten that one completely and as I scrolled to see it I thought at first it must be one of Lori's!
I am in awe at the strength he’s shown through it all and wanted to add my prayers for relief of his pain, and for courage and continued strength for everything he’s still facing.
Billie, your graphic and the accompanying “I’m Tired” poem is one of your cutest ever. It made me smile.
Hi Billie, I agree with you on the weather! We only get a day or two but not really warm enough to be Spring but just a teaser, as you describe it! I laugh sometimes when I think of July and I can hear us now...”this weather is killing me, I wish it would cool down a bit.” And we will also say, “I wish Fall would hurry up and get here.”
Its just the nature of the human! LOL! Its good God has a sense of humor, isn’t it? And He knows what He’s doing all the time.
Lori, you do some very pretty things for us, too. I think I missed your last one. Sometimes I’m away for a couple of days and always mean to get back and comment and never do. Time just rushes on by! When I first saw the title of Billie’s “I’m Tired”, I thought it was an ode to me....LOL!
Optomist’s Hunting Dog
Friends, one an optimist and the other a pessimist could never quite agree on any topic of discussion.
One day the optimist decided he had found a good way to pull his friend out of his continually pessimistic way of thinking - the optimist owned a huntin’ dog that could walk on water.
His plan? Take the pessimist and the dog out duck hunting in a boat.
They got out into the middle of the lake, and the optimist shot down a duck. The dog immediately walked out across the water, retrieved the duck, and walked back to the boat.
The optimist looked at his pessimistic friend and said, “What do you think about that?”
The pessimist replied, “That dog can’t swim, can he?
LOL...!
Awww....thank you, jaycee. More and more, I am missing more and more. LOL. I try to get here when I can but seems like the days just go by so fast. As I was shopping at Target today I noticed some Easter things on the shelves and couldn’t believe it. Wasn’t it just Christmas a couple weeks ago??? I just can’t keep up!
Thank you so much for your kind reply. I’ve been in constant prayer and depression. God bless our Jim, he sounded cheerful and like you said, resigned or accepting the loss of his leg. I am also praying his pain and circulation can be healed without amputation and I read the message from one of our members about the Vitamin C so maybe that’s an option his doctors can pursue. Either way, we just want our Jim completely healed. God bless you, dear Amy. I’ll look for your update after you see him later today.
Thank you.
It's been so quiet around here today.
LOL...definitely a pessimist!
That’s so cute Teenie. I’m playing ‘catch up’ tonight, lol.
