Could you imagine walking through that den of lovliness everyday? Wow!
Thanks.

Thank you!
Teenie - I didn’t know there WAS a song, until I went back, and clicked on the “HE” by your graphic!
I listened to the Righteous Bros. sing that song, and then another one came one, and then ANOTHER one!
I LOVE the Righteous Brothers - and thank you for this!
yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!! :)
You're not alone there!
That was the 'minor error' in the post below that one! When previewed and on my comments it shows centered but didn't post that way! :(
Now I did and it was very nice. Sorry, but I didn't notice the "He" before. Thank you!
Beautiful graphic, Meg! All your graphics were wonderful today, as always! Thank you...for today!
Lovely poem Yorkie & I wish you Cherry Blossoms & love always! *hugs*
Reading everything that’s happened to you, I can’t help writing and say how truly happy for you! And I’m wishing you continued success! God Bless!
There is dairy free margarine on the market (don't remember the name tho) and you can replace, in most cookie recipes, 50% of the oil, butter, crisco, or margarine, with applesauce or strained baby prunes (no, it doesn't change taste or ladies room visits..lol). I use Butter Buds but they have dehydrated butter in them. I have no idea how that would affect your allergy.
In cakes or sweet breads I replace the full amount and works just fine.
Really good to hear you have finally found some relief. I wish you luck in your search for replacements.
Thank you, Connie - and I wish the same for you!
No worries. History tends to repeat but, as a people, I am not sure we're always getting smarter, despite age, since we seem to continue making similar mistakes, so fresh perspective has got to be of help.
Born in the 1800's, I think my Grandmother must have been a 'visionary' - The older I get, the smarter it seems she was...LOL. I am fairly certain she could see things going sideways even back then. She was sure that FDR was sending us all to (socialist) h*ll in a handbasket and here, fifty years later, what is one of the main things we are worrying about? ...FDR's Social Security.
I don't disagree with your premise however. Bush's Medicare part D, and Obama's Obamacare were both huge additional expansions of socialism in our country, and I think either of those alone has the potential to do our country in. Right now we've got to deal with both and, to make things worse, Obama, in the past two years, has already spent (wasted) all of our 'spare' income for at least the next 10 years, along with a huge chunk of our 'credit line', so we no longer have anything even remotely resembling a cushion, upon which we might have otherwise fallen back in tough times. Sad. Just sad.
