Glad you’re feeling better, Dolly, and that you’re getting to do the things you enjoy most.
We are starting into the pollen season too and for the next several months we will be feeling it with out allergies and everything on my patio and carport will be yellow for quite a while.
Your graphic and scripture is beautiful.
I loved my pretty purple flowers today, Meg. All of your florals have been beautiful as always.
Your cherry blossoms are beautiful with a lovely scripture to go along with it. Thanks, yorkie!
What a precious little girl. Thank you so much. The party was great but with an awful lot of people. Braelyn was just darling when we were helping her get into her packages. She just acted like she knew what it was all about. And when we sang Happy Birthday, she just smiled and smiled and when we got through the song and were clapping, she just laughed out loud and patted those little hands together the best she could. It was such a joy to realize how quickly this year has passed and how well she has progressed.
Hate I forgot my camera but I have asked some special people to try to send me a few pictures so that I could share with my friends on Amy’s. (Then I explain Amy’s.) LOL!
Thank you for such a gorgeous graphic of flowers, tiapam. It looks so serene there.
Sweet and blessed graphic, teenie. Thank you.
I do not know why some churches are so stiff these days. I am not the only one in my church discouraged by it. Every now and then we will have a Sunday where we sing out of the old song books and its wonderful. Seldom is my heart touched by the music they sing. I love music that touches my heart in church. Thats what going to church is all about. I hate to talk about my church, too, because they are all good in their souls. Makes me feel guilty.
I’m not crazy about this preacher we have now either but I have read “if we don’t like our preacher, maybe we should change ourselves instead of the preacher.” Thats hard for me to understand....LOL!
I love it. Thats what I would like to do.
Yes, I remember that and how lovely it is to see it again. I am just so grateful every day that God has been so good in sending us Braelyn. She always makes my heart sing on a really gloomy day. Thank you, yorkie.
How I wish you and I could return
To the beginning of our time together,
And capture the springtime of our youth -
You don't know how I wish for this now and then. *sigh*
Hi fish hawk, You probably won’t believe that the whole Psalms 139 is my very, very favorite scripture. I’ve read it in the Living Bible, too, and its beautiful. To think, God knew me when I was in my mommy’s tummy, tells me everything I need to know about abortion. Some may disagree but thats what I believe.
Beautiful Hawaii....guess I will never see it. I had friends who lived there 7-8 years and came back home when their parents were aging and they felt it was necessary. They loved Hawaii and have been back several times. And now like me, we all are aging....*sigh*.
What brought it up, one day when I walked into his office, he had lost so much weight the first question I asked was "Dr. Blank, are you sick?" He said no, that his cholesterol was so high that he did it to lose weight. He actually hadn't looked overweight because he is so tall. He said he had tried the cholesterol pills (which I take) and they made him feel so bad.
I'm ashamed to say I haven't bought the book yet and I may still get it. It is low salt, low fat of course. He lost 30 pounds and his wife is on it too. He told me that a person can get used to it after a while and the recipes were very good after you got used to it, especially this soup recipes.
I takes a lot of stamina, willpower and its what we all are willing to do to live a better and longer life. You know that saying we've all used "we live to eat"...well, just remember this is called "Eat to Live".
I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer 'yes.'
He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up
The smudges off my mouse.
I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick
I was just admiring my work.
I didn't mean to 'click.'
But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site.
That I got SO way into it.
I was into it all night.
Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess
While I sit here on my hiney.
Thank you for being my e-mail buddy an dear friend!
We went up to the first pen and there was a sign attached that said,
' THIS BULL MATED 50 TIMES LAST YEAR'
My wife playfully nudged me in the ribs. Smiled and said, He mated 50 times last year.'
We walked to the second pen which had a sign
attached that said,
''THIS BULL MATED 150 TIMES LAST YEAR'
My wife gave me a healthy jab and said,
'WOW~~That's more than twice a week! .
You could learn a lot from him.'
We walked to the third pen and it had a sign
attached that said, in capital letters,
'THIS BULL MATED 365 TIMES LAST YEAR'
My wife was so excited that her elbow nearly broke my ribs, and said,
'That's once a day.
You could REALLY learn something from this one.'
I looked at her and said,
'Go over and ask him if it was
with the same old cow.'
My condition has been upgraded from critical
to stable and I should eventually make a full recovery. .
Thank you, JC. I love looking up the trunk of a tree, and seeing the blossoms of spring, and absorbing their sweet fragrance through my every pore!
Last sentence beginning...(it) not I...
ROFLMBO!!!!!!!!!!!
One of my favorite Spring things to do (always after I clean my carport and patio) is to sit out and look up at my tall trees in the front yard and see those tiny green dots that are the beginning of leaves. Then, it seems daily they are changing until the whole tree is full and providing shade for the hot months ahead.....isn’t God good?
Glad you all had ( especially, Braelyn ) a good birthday celebration! She sounds like such a happy little girl. Hope you are able to get some pictures, so we can see her, too! :)
