If youve been a viewer of the Fox News Channel over the past week and a half and have paid attention to its coverage of the standoff between Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker and Democratic members of the state Senate, you may have noticed the protest that has ensued in Madison, Wisc. has been less than hospitable to the cable news channels reporters. On Saturday nights broadcast of Geraldo at Large, Fox News correspondent Mike Tobin took some critical shots at protesters attempting to shout down and disrupt his broadcast.
I noticed the other day they have added Fox Latino to his tag line at the bottom of the screen. I find that weird. Would they put white guy, white woman, black guy etc. on other Fox news people?
I don’t know if you listen to Rush, but the local guy who “outed” Fred Levenhagen is Mark Belling, who subs for Rush on a semi-regular basis. Mark has a huge audience. He has posted links on his website to Levenhagen’s rant and the link to teacher’s pay was from there, too, as well as Levenhagen’s salary.
Belling mentions Levenhagen every day on his show now. It’s all part of the “new civility”:)
“Would they put white guy, white woman, black guy etc. on other Fox news people?”
Good point. I would bet it was done in response to a request from him.
Sure there is hate in their eyes. Somebody is trying to take their lollipop and they don’t like it. The State legislature will likely have to pry it from their dead cold hand.

Joe Columbo was a well-guarded organized crime boss who operated in New York in the '60s and '70s. In 1972, a mob rival paid someone to murder Columbo during a New York parade. Knowing that the man might be caught and reveal who had hired him, the employer took additional precautions to silence the killer.
As planned, the hired assassin rushed Columbo during the parade and shot the mob boss. Columbo did not die, but was permanently paralyzed and soon lost control of his crime syndicate.
When the gunman tried to make his escape, however, five large Sicilian gentlemen tackled him and covered him with their bodies. When the five men stood up, the man who had shot Columbo lay dead with two bullet holes in him. A revolver wrapped in friction tape lay on his body. The entire incident was captured on film by several television cameras.
The five Sicilian gentlemen refused to talk to the police. So thorough was their refusal that the police were not sure whether the men spoke English, or any other language, for that matter. Attempted interrogations in various dialects were all fruitless.
All five men tested positive for nitrates on both hands. None of the five, as near as could be determined, had a Social Security number. All five were released by the police after being held for less than 20 hours. None of the five were charged with any crime.
Some people might ask why a charge of conspiracy was not brought. The fact was that since no one said one word to the police, there was no starting point from which to build a case. The five men could have been tackling the assassin to disarm him, and the trigger of his gun got squeezed twice in the struggle. Without testimony, the prosecution could not prove anything, and the DA knew this. The five men walked away.
The lessons of the Columbo shooting are clear and uncomplicated:
Keep these lessons firmly in mind. They will serve you well in all circumstances, including the times when you've done nothing.

...something tells me they(union/gov.)will do anything and everything to stop further exposure.
Richard Trumka(President, AFL-CIO)is a crook of the first order...a bigger lying weasel you'll never see.
This recession has been hard on a lot of folks, my own-self included....but it also exposed a lot of sewers that, if they were allowed to continue, would have eventually turned the U.S.A. into a third world sh thole....whether it be greed on Wall Street, K-Street, or the same on Main Street...it's been building like a ponzi scheme for decades(accelerated since Clinton).
...Unfortunately, the reality is...the exposure(to some...not all of it)may have came too late to turn things around. I don't envy the next generation.

Very excellent post. Thanks for an effective illustration via the Columbo shooting of why it’s wise to say NOTHING to the cops if they’re accusing you of something, even — perhaps especially — if you’re totally innocent.
They are liberals. Hate is what they do. They don't need a reason.
Hey, parents..he spends as much time with your kids (maybe more) than YOU do. That is creepy.
They’re simply a cross between Bolsheviks and organized crime.
Let me tell you something. If the cops stop following orders of the Governor then there’s going to be a Bastille moment.I foresee a Tea Party police force protecting the governor.
“They are liberals. Hate is what they do. They don’t need a reason”
You are probably right.
That’s because these people are union first... cops second. That is why we have so many dirty cops.
Fox has a Latino channel. It just means that his show is also on Fox Latino.
He’s half Hungarian, btw. The “Latino” half is Puerto Rican, and most of them have been here long enough to move on and simply be Americans. He would have been like them (although actually, I’m not sure he even knew the Puerto Rican half of his family; I believe he was brought up by his mother) until he discovered that being “Latino” was a good shtick.
Ahhh, do you have to post long screeds on almost every thread, many of them repetitive?
Although, I appreciate your zeal.
I knew he was Puerto Rican Latino. Didn’t know there was a special Latino Fox channel . . . heck I don’t even get Fox Business Channel from DISH even though I demanded it LOL but they charge extra for the privilege.
