Charo plugging a show on spanish language TV that's in English. A real ratings winner, no doubt.

"In two or three years a computer will tell you what to do in the bathroom."

That would be a liberal computer.

Charo is fun. Lady Gaga is fun.
Did you know that before she was famous Lady Gaga did music tours in Sweden. There are a good number of videos that cover those shows. They are still entertaining, and there's not a hint of Madonna in 'em.

I heard Charo actually puts on a good show on Royal Caribbean cruises.

“Ageless?” Nah, I don’t think so.
One no talent criticizing another. This is rich.

“As the interview continued, Charo remained thinking about bathrooms, saying “I love American toilets.”
My sweetie went to Rota (sp?!) Spain, sub-base. After some of his descriptions about the local ‘rest-rooms’, I’m inclined to think they need some additional help on that topic!

Charo is actually a very talented flamenco guitarist.

The liberal toilet computer will tell the men to sit, and the women to stand.

At my age, that may not be a bad thing.

There's an interesting book out: GOING ABROAD - THE BATHROOM SURVIVAL GUIDE. The double entendre is intentional. I wish I'd found it before my first overseas trip, but I've found it very helpful in more recent trips to places that seem never to heard of flush toilets.

I happen to like Lady Gaga. She’s sexy, in a weird way. I like the whole “over the top” thing.

Its already been done before, so for me its nothing new. The girl has some talent, I do believe, but I yawn at the antics and the critics. Big Meh from me.

Many years ago, I saw a show in Vegas that featured Charo.
As I remember it, she was filling in for Cher.
Anyway, in the middle of the show she walks down a set of stairs into the audience while wearing four inch heels and tumbles to the floor. In an instant, she was up and continued singing like nothing happened. She is a tough cookie.
The woman has more energy than a Union Protester and she is an excellent flamenco guitarist as well.

Sexy? Nope. Besides, her whole act has been done before.

I overheard several 14-15 year old girls discussing Lady Gaa Gaa in a Walmart restroom.
First teen asked, "Do you still like Lady Gaa Gaa?"
Second girl responded, Not any more. I read somewhere she's real old."
The third girl piped up, "Me and Ashley call her Lady Blah Blah."

    "Big Meh from me."
That's my opinion on contempory music period. There hasn't been anything original in 30 years. Everything is a cook-cutter over produced take on what was hot 5 years ago, and 5 years before that. I find myself more and more drawn to classical and jazz because there's a greater chance I'll stumble onto something I haven't heard a hundred times already. I move forward by looking backwards.
