So, you think the unions are “hurting their brand” with these latest shenanigans?

I attempt to buy Made in the USA which is probably more than the corrupt politicians that we pay to represent us do. Most of them are on the take from lobbyists, international business, and any other interest group that can get them reelected or offer a higher paying job if they lose.
I’m not against unions, I’m against corruption and influence buying. The USA has been corrupted by influence buying and it is much more than unions, and at our expense. You think all of these special farm subsidies, ethanol deals, oil subsidies and special tax breaks and stadiums built at your expense come free?

Is there much left that’s union-made that you can buy any more?
Are unions pretty much relegated to service staff and government agencies at this point?

Nope. Never have, never will.
We need to come with a new name for the first Monday in September.

Remember “The International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union” and that stupid song they sang on their ad? Not very International to be telling us to only buy American Union garments...

A definitive NO!
I actually go out of my way to avoid union-made products when a choice is available. A product with a union label is a sure indication of an unhappy working environment with disgruntled employees. More often than not, that leads to a shoddy product.
Just recall the UAW's inferior workmanship of the Chevy Vega at the Lordstown, Ohio plant.

I will go out of my way to NOT buy products knowingly involving a union.
No more American cars from plants with unions.
We also need to boycott products made in states that do not have "right to work" laws, where possible.
