Fact is, I am in complete sympathy with you on the issue of illegals and such. My comment was restricted to the apparent attempt to hijack the thread.

Look here ... If Ronaldus Magnus himself was to drop in at my own wedding reception for the sole purpose of pleading his case on whatever issue he and I might whole-heartedly agree upon, I would STILL think he was hijacking the event for his own selfish purposes and, however much I might agree with him on whatever issue, I would STILL be inclined to push back and suggest a more appropriate forum was called for.

In any case, there ARE plenty of reasons to smile and even find enjoyment in life around you, regardless of how some issue or another is workin’ against you and / or your values. Try lookin’ for more of THOSE instead of walkin’ around all hair-triggered.
