There is an old song by Alice Faye called, “America, I Love You”.
The words are nonsensical, really, but I love Alice Faye.
It was in Tin Pan Alley, which is one of my fav old movies.

Here are a few which, sadly, are not available on Youtube or any free online site.
- The Fiery Bear--Tex Ritter, 1950 (US vs. Soviet culture)
- The Red We Want (is the Red We've Got in the Old Red White & Blue)--Hugo Winterhalter, 1950 ("the right red, not the wrong red; a brave red, not a slave red")
- She's Old Glory--Stuart Hamblen, 1950 (should America's detractors try to pull down Old Glory," they'll find a lot of us old boys around who still love our liberty...")
- Advice to Joe--Roy Acuff, 1950 ("You will see the lightning flashing, hear atomic thunder roll; when Moscow lies in ashes, God have mercy on your soul...")

Okie from Muskogee, Merle Haggard
America First, Merle Haggard
An American Family, Concrete Cowboy, Livin The Good Life, and Oklahoma Crude -— all these by Corbin-Hanner, the best unknown country rock duo of the 80s with several number one C&W songs written for others. Corbin-Hanner are a duo that wrote and performed great sounding songs, which all contain a genuine love of country and the people who make it up. Try their songs on iTunes - they are excellent iPod additions that will make you smile and sing along for years to come.
