Why does Hollywood keep remaking movies that were excellent in their original version?
It isn’t that Arthur was a masterpiece, but it was excellent and fit its niche perfectly. Sir John Gielgud’s “I’ll alert the media” single line will live long after this clearly terrible low-rent remake.
I use that line on people all the time who announce obvious things.
So they can make them excellenter.
