Interesting selection of restaurants. I think I'd pass on Everest, because of my dislike of heights. And Simon Pearce, because I think you'd have to be insane to eat in that dining room (look at the pic). But La Provence in New Orleans? Mais Oui!

The Venue is irrelevant its the company that makes or breaks it

How about Chano's? It's located on 30th and Figueroa in Los Angeles, about two blocks north of USC.

La Provence is across Lake Pontchartrain and a good 40 mile drive from New Orleans.

Schimschack’s on Upper Mountain Road in Sanborn, NY, just a bit east of Niagara Falls. That is where Joe D and Marilyn Monroe hung out in 1952. Ultra-romantic, and great fare.

Used to go to Schimshack's all the time, loved it. Haven't been in 20 years. I'm glad to see they're still there.
La Provence and Antoine's are great.
If you get the chance check out
Son'z Maui at Swan Court.

I would give up many romantic dinners for a few Jack in the Box tacos. I love them.
I don’t CARE what’s in them. I haven’t had one in years, there aren’t any in FL.

Golden arches, the smell of hot fry oil.......just makes a person want to get extra napkins, it does.

I've been to this place once. There are many restaurants like this I guess. I prefer seafood and a waterfront view, if possible.
Looking west toward the Gulf of Mexico from the dock of Roy's Restaurant at Steinhatchee, Florida.

I was loving every minute of it. It was a time I will never forget. To me that gets ranked very high in the Most Romantic category.
