Loki scares strangers but he is really a big baby, the least aggressive cat around here. He just doesn’t smile much!

May God go with your grandson.
When one is the big cat, one doesn’t have to smile at all.

I had to watch his momma leave for the army about 20 years ago, it doesn’t get easier. It makes you proud and sad at the same time.

Great pics of a beautiful cat! I don’t know why Loki would scare anyone, though (at least judging from your photos). He does have a grave demeanor but his body language is nonthreatening. Handsome boy. :)
Please thank your grandson for doing our country’s necessary work. We here at FR appreciate it.

Loki is a beautiful kittykat. My Stuffy (silly name I guess) weighs over thirteen pounds and is a long haired dark gray and white mix - half Persian and half Siamese - a mix that definitely is a combination of aloofness, total independence, and sweetness, too.
God bless your grandson (and keep him safe), and your daughter, too, for serving their country in the military.

Nice pictures SS. He looks like our guy... who is the alpha in the house and keeps both dogs in line. He doesn’t smile much either.
Thank your grandson for the G family. We will be praying for him.

Your grandson, Godspeed and God bless.
Loki reminds me of our Slinker (1999-2007). He was a huge guy, but a pussy cat.

Beautiful markings and coat. Felines are such a wonderful gift to us.

I love the express on that gray tabby’s face, and the caption is perfect.

Thanks for sharing these. We may head down to the Humane Society today to see what we might be interested in. I think a cat, low maintenance and highly entertaining, is probably best for us.

Like so many of us- I have a grandson in Afghanistan- was supposed to come home in December, now in May. First tour was Iraq. I am proud of those that serve, at the same time wish none needed to. Good luck to your grandson.
Again I so appreciate your pictures.
