Graham, N.C. — Burlington police arrested a 51-year-old Alamance County teacher and charged him with a sexual offense with a student.
On Saturday, a female student told police that she had been involved in a sexual relationship with Denny Glenn Wall, a teacher and coach at Alamance Christian School in Graham, according to police.
Officers arrested Wall, of 1929 Briar Lane, on Monday and placed him in the Alamance County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
No other information was released.

In my opinion a great number of people in this country have never grown up and really gotten past high school, so they seek to revisit their youth any time the opportunity arises. Men and women both.

We have sexualized everything and then complain about men and women who can no longer control the burning fire lust within them and act amazed when that lust spreads uncontrollably within them, burning themselves to the ground and taking others with them.
It’s unusual for the perp to be a male.
Are we going to get the usual picture of the perp with the “GUILTY/NOT GUILTY” caption? Those are always so much fun.
Lucky girl! Where were these male teachers when I was in school?
Even so It behooves those in responsible position to not behave like barbarians.
The teenager also bears at lease 50% of the responsibility. They are old enough to know better.

I certainly don’t agree with what he did but I agree less with a double standard that pervades and gives a slap on the wrist depending on gender.

Any evidence? Any photo’s, witnesses, admission of guilt?
We have an accusation, and a man is arrested, his picture is in the paper, he’s in jail on $50,000 bond. His reputation is shot, his career is in serious jeopardy, and at this point in time - we don’t know if he did anything wrong.
Did he do it? Or is this girl simply getting revenge for a poor grade, or not making the team?
Call me silly, but I like to see some evidence before we condemn a man. I just don’t ruin a man’s (or woman’s) life on the mere accusation of a high school student.

Pray tell, why do some Freepers applaud the post about the high school boys having sex with a female teacher and then are disgusted when a male teacher has sex with a female student? Can you justify one and simply vilify the other? Both teachers had a position of power and authority over these children. Teens but children. Both are pedophiles in my book. Just a thought.
