Using chambers cut off 12 ga. scrap barrels and a new $10 bbl for an Italian auto shotgun, the only other gun part is a scrapped hammer from a 1857 Remington perc revolver:
Loads like a SAA Colt but underlever rotates and cocks it. Blow-by is negligible, hardly noticeable with normal shirt sleeve.
Opened for some still shots, at top of the inside pix screwed in is the firing pin, impact type with return spring. The ratchet or star with the hand is visible below on the left side, also the pawl that cocks the hammer. The cylinder indexing lock is external, operated by the under lever. At very bottom the small knob releases the cylinder to turn clockwise for loading.
Due to limited equipment I was unable to copy existing mechanisms so it is pretty much designed from scratch, largely by cut and try, trial and error, etc.

Revolving Shotgun Built From Scratch

An interesting and well-executed exercise.
But I suspect some folks wouldn’t put the fingers of one hand in front
of a revolver with shotgun shells...although there’s probably about zero
risk with modern shells.
In comparison to the old black-powder “revolver” rifles which you needed
to NEVER put your hand out in front of the revolver in case an accidental
discharge might take off a fair chunk of your hand.
“for shooting them in the back as they run away”
May I recommend a rail-mounted shovel for that Judge?
Google “Taurus Judge” . Really cool bedside weapon.
Actually it is from a replica of Remington New Model Army of 1863, missnamed the model of 1858 (not 1857) because of the original 1858 patent date.

Correct me if I’m wrong,
but the Miller case was decided by the overall length (including the shortened stock) being too short.
The barrel was OK, but the stock shortening caused the problem.
Hope the ATF doesn’t inquire about a Class 2 license to manufacture.
There is a hell of a delay in here.
The BATF even went after the “potato gun” guys at one point.
Look up the AA12, 250 rounds per minute.

Very cool gun.
Wonder why his finger is inside the trigger guard?
I was wondering the same thing. I suspect this guy might have put the cart before the horse if you know what I mean...
Can one get a tongue slicer and cauterizer with that shovel accessory?
Nice - 26 round capacity. Impressive.
My current obsession is this baby:

14+1 in a short 26.1” frame. Plus, the ability to hot switch which magazine tube you are feeding from. Buck shot on one side, slugs on the other, and a lever selects which one you want at any given moment.

Must be zombies a-coming.
Just give your concept and intended purpose to our “model builder”, perfectstranger, he can make it happen.
What about a nano-nuc trencher round?
Thanks!!
There is a difference between a tool and art.
That is a piece of art my FRiend.
I would love to have one just like it.
