Change the couple to white and have the jealous woman throwing her Pepsi can, hitting the black woman jogger and knocking her to the ground, Rev. Al and Bro. Jesse would be all over TV and radio today screaming "racism," not to mention the Feminazis screaming about abuse and football. By tomorrow, "Community Activists" like Obama would be boycotting and filing lawsuits against Pepsi for creating ads showing blacks being physically abused by, yet again, Whitey!
Pepsi, Fox and pro football have gone too far pandering to blacks and Obama.
Nope...I thought the same thing. In fact, the doritos commercial with the dorky white guy sucking on the black dude’s finger was a new low.
I said the same thing to my wife when I saw it. It would have been a hate crime by the race baiters.
Thankfully, I missed that commercial.
Why must everyone look for things to be offended by? Why must everything be seen in political terms?
I fight against political correctness anywhere I see it, and this is political correctness from a conservative angle.
It was a joke. We used to be able to make jokes in this country.
And if you didn’t like a joke, you could say “Hey, I don’t think that was funny.”
You didn’t have to find a reason to justify your dislike.
Not everything has to do with politics.
Add to that, the Pepsi commercial where a black couple (man and woman) were sitting on a park bench next to a white girl. The black guy threw the can at his girlfriend, who ducked, and the white girl got hit in the face.
Did they apologize? Hell no . . . they looked around . . . and ran! New low for a corporate brand.
I thought nearly all of the ads were terrible...but the Dorito finger sucker and the female jogger getting clocked by the jealous wife were over the top. Can you imagine the outcry if the colors were reversed????
Even the Budweiser commercial was disappointing. About the only one I could tolerate was for the Black Beetle (for VW) and that only due to the music...Ohh ohh Black Betty bamalam. oops, Can we even say that anymore??
So many ads reflect such “low” humor. I’m so sick of seeing men being hit in the crotch — which has been a big “gag” for years now. The one you mentioned surprised me and I did groan — but is immemorable as far as message (I had already forgotten what the ad was sponsoring).
I liked the “Tiny Dancer” singing bad a$$ one the best.
Who cares what Moochie “wide load” obama thinks...she’s as ignorant as dirt.
ALL of the ads were pathetic.
Although the Bud Light ad of the Product placement ads in Movies was pretty good.
I think they topped the reality of Steve Spielbergs grotesque use of product pimping.
All the Pepsi ads were violent. Granted the “cartoon-type” violence, but still vindictive and mean.
I hated the one where the obnoxious guy gets a cold can rocketed into his crotch with painful results. For the past 10 years or more the ‘kicked in the crotch’ scenario has been hailed as the apex of comedy gold in this culture for some reason. It’s vulgar and distasteful. Why do you guys think it’s funny? Because it’s not you? As a gal, I’m puzzled.
I would recommend Pepsi return to an older or original logo and hope I forget the incestual relationship they have with Obama regime.
Apparently you weren’t the only person offended by it, which means that you aren’t alone in having a serious need to lighten up. It was a funny ad.
Nope I was somewhat offended, my thoughts were similar to yours.
Nothing that qreat, but I did like the one where a log knocked Roseanne on her a$$
Well, the darth vader kid comm. was very sweet. But had
nothing to do with car since lots of cars have remote
control features...Where were all the super great
budweiser horsies?...I love those horses....they could
have had a Secretariat tie-in or a Zenyatta tie in with
the Bud Horses, and scored a monster commercial...too bad
the beer is average to below average...
Pepsi can on the obnoxious calorie counting wife was ok,
till they hit the girl on the noggin...completely unnecessary
white or black....same with the guy taking it in the crotch
and noggin...as far as the guy taking the Doritos crumbs off
of people...kinda sick...I’ll always remember guy sucking
off crumbs off of dudes pants...no more Doritos for me. They
get a big negative for that one....they’re too salty anyway.
the couple who threw the can at the woman... they did not run off... they went to get help...
it is hard to see what happened after, because the commercial only shows a small portion of what happened...
the can hit the woman, the couple went to get help, help arrived in the form of two attractive emts, she fell in love with one and they lived happily ever after.
just sayin...
keep drinking coca-cola.

The most offensive Pepsi commercial to me was the one where the guy and the girl are on the date and we hear her thoughts: “How much money does he make? Is he going to go bald? Is he going to want children?” Then we hear his thoughts: “I want to sleep with her. I want to sleep with her. I want to sleep with her.” I was so uncomfortable watching this with my pre-teen boys. I try so hard to explain to them how to be gentlemen, and this is what I have to fight...
A great example of why we don’t subject ourselves or our kids to the super bowl ads or halftime show.
We DVR’d the whole thing, and started watching at 8:30. We were done by 10, and didn’t have to witness any of the pregame crap, the halftime crap, or the commercial crap.
According to Twitter and YouTube, many blacks were very upset. It continues the stereotype of the emasculating black woman with an attitude juxtaposed next to the friendly, fit, beautiful white woman for decades.
Also, Michelle Obama has nothing to do with this ad. Eating healthy is not a new idea.
