Is this the "pale rider" from Revelation? A mysterious, pale green figure seen in televised news coverage of the Egyptian riots has prompted some viewers to ask, "Could this be the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse?"

I wouldn’t brush it off so easily. I really never give any creedence to people who say “I saw Jesus!” (Whether in a cookie or in a village) as we know exactly where he is, and we know exactly what his return will look like. Till that day, nobody will see him on earth.
However, we also know that Satan is out and about, and so are his minions. It’s perfectly possible that the pale rider is afoot, and that this was camera footage of him.
This occurs almost everywhere irrigation is used to provide water to marginal lands ~ and Fur Shur Egypt has more than its fair share of marginal lands.
There are a number of ways to mitigate the salt problem but the guys downstream ~ the farmers ~ have to have large land holdings, access to serious farm equipment, as well as access to capital.
Under Mubarak "land reform" has reduced maximum land ownership to very low levels. The consequence has been the removal of educated people from the farm community and their replacement by bureaucrats in buildings in Cairo far removed from the fields.
Productivity has fallen; salinity has expanded its range, and everybody is ending up miserable.

I noticed that the people responsible for this video are PunkersTV. Which means it’s a practical joke.
Yup, I’m going for fire reflection. It moves as the camera moves and disappears when a certain part of the fire leaves camera range.

It’s clearly a video overlay. As it goes up into the sky, you can see light artifacts behind it following it up - the same thing you’d see if you combined two videos together.
Fail.
It almost looks like a reflection of a tank. The thing looks kind of stiff. Who knows.
