Am I seeing things? A temperature record which has been updated which then shows the modern temperatures lower than the earlier version?

What would Hansen say?

But, but, but, they said on the Today Show the week before last that 2010 was the absolutyist “most hottest year on the whole PLANET, EVER!!!!!!!” (and if you believe that I have a hotspot in Antarctica for sale cheap) They said it right on TV so it MUST be true, right?

You noticed the lack of info too? Good, I started trying to get stats on the death rates in various American cities starting in December 2010, and there are none. The number is not zero, because the number can’t ever be zero, they’re just not there. I searched by city, looking for local news and also with the CDC. ALL I get for hits are global warming BS. I used Google and Bing.

"Curiously, there’s no mention of this new v3.3 data set on their web page describing the MSU data products they produce. Perhaps they just haven’t gotten around to updating it yet."

Or, perhaps they are slowly taking out their bogus "corrections" to the data (which cause the daata to show global warming) because they know they are going to get exposed.
