I recall from the Lewinski era that King William’s main lawyer was a member of the Editorial Board (or something along those lines) of the National Enquirer, so whenever something juicy news tidbit was about to get free, they would release it through the Enquirer first so people’s response would be “The Enquirer? Can’t believe anything that rag says”.

True, it's the Enquirer but just remember this. They have had several lawsuits in the past for millions of dollars. Now days they are a little more careful on what they print is true. Don't you think they would have cowboyed up on this one as for sure, the Clintons would take them to court.

One of the attorneys I worked with in Denver did exactly that. He was a ski bum for a while then settled down, married and had children he adored. He was from Vermont (if memory serves me well) originally and had the $$ to survive on his own. Not many of us can do that IMHO. He was one of the nicest guys I ever worked with.
